Hotel Plaza San Martín — Hotel in Tegucigalpa

The worst hotel i have ever stayed by far. The hotel is very old or at least the floor I stayed at, the lights of the hall were all broken and it was very dark and scary, i felt like in the shining movie, the room was very spacious but because of the carpet it had a very bad smell, the room was also very dark and I found some bold spots on my sheets, I try to eat something at the restaurant around 10 pm and they told me that they could not provide me service because they had many orders going on (i understood that) but when I asked about having the buffet they say no. I complained at the front desk and they did nothing to improve my stay or fixed my complains (not even changing the bloody stain sheets) even that I had a 3 night reservation with not refund, I left...

Great service. OK rooms but need to improve, the decoration is colonial elegant, so they brought this elements to the door of the room, your door will have 3 green windows, as I couldn't care less about that, at night all the light gets in. The room has a widow with a balcony, which is nice. This window has a thick curtain as a blind, which blocks the light. The down side is the door on the window is old, all the noise from the outside goes in. And last the shower has no pressure, especially in regular schedules. The food is good a bit at the expensive side compared to local restaurants. Not much near by, I went for a walk not much to see. They don't recommend going for a walk but wanted a baleada, which is not...

I spent a few nights in this hotel, a standard "world class" one, in early February 2023, and was quite pleased with it.
