I shouldn't have picked the place because of it's price, now I find fully understand you get what you pay for. The place is really old and quite disappointed , the room is really noisy because it's next to light rail. We stepped in the room, thinking it must be the heater turned up high by accident, but it was the hot water heater in the bathroom that made the stay unbearable, it was really really hot and stuffy and It's a really old residential apartment from the 50's , and you have to go through a dark alley way before reaching the elevator. It fit only 4 person tightly in elevator, and when we reached 5th floor our rooms, the elevator was not leveled with the floor, someone could trip on that. Once we opened the door, there's another door leads to our room. After that evening, we heard someone trying to get into the main door, and realized there's someone living in the same apartment, but through another door. We left after only 2nights and cut short of our trip and left. We were really tired from touring the Budapest city, and got awakened by the morning light rails, it was really a 2 torturing nights. The staff are very friendly and no fault on their own. It's the place it's way too old...

In all way a very good hotel worth recommending. Very easy self check in. Elevator in the building. Very nice gentleman at the reception, quick payment. The room very clean. In addition, a small fridge and a safe and air conditioning in the room. TV available, channels also in English. The bed is large and comfortable, 2 separate duvets, bedside lamps and plugs. Coffee, tea, sugar, kettle, 2 cups and spoons in the room. The bathroom has a set of towels, cosmetics and a hair dryer. Breakfast very large, two types of cereal with milk, two types of bread, rolls, croissants and sweet buns, cheese, 3 types of ham, 2 types of salami, butter, tomato, cucumber, pepper, coffee machine with sugar, sweetener, lemon for tea, juices, water, yoghurts, jams. We ate breakfast on...

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Spacious, basic room. Although I've read that the beds were hard, I slept fine. Kitchen contains fridge, coffee maker, kettle, oven (no microwave). TV only offers Hungarian channels. Bathroom was fine. Water in Budapest is high in chlorine (not that nice for drinking). Breakfast was OK, although a bit expensive if not included in a package deal (7 Euro). Location is excellent (many public transport options and shops around...

Honestly don’t understand any bad reviews about this place. We stayed here for two nights and had the best time. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was sufficient and very yummy. The location was quiet and still very easy and walkable to the nearest sights. The people at the front desk were super nice and also let us check out later. Will be coming again for sure!
