Ph21 gallery and what's left of it!
Dear fellowcreators! I would like to share a few facts about the Ph21 gallery with those Hungarian and foreign artists who haven't applied yet and those who have, I would like to present through the pictures what I experienced as an artist about two months ago when I went to the "gallery" which is a project room and not a gallery, I was sad to see what was left of the ph21 "gallery" what you can see on the website is part of the interior of the old ph21 gallery and what you can see in the new gallery (Ráday u. 52) where there is an armchair is the current "gallery"
even smaller than the old "gallery" but this is not a gallery it is a project room at the entrance door so there are no opening hours a hair studio operates in the old place Ráday u. 55 the current gallery Ráday u. 52 almost opposite it.
Both Hungarian and foreign artists deserve more than this for the application money that the gallery asks for.
The gallery's opening hours are also interesting: it is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: from 14:00 to 18:00. three days out of the seven days in total, so this "gallery" is closed more than it is open and there is no opening time on the door, let alone the view you see in the picture, even when it is open it looks like it is closed.
Another fact, in the past the pictures were out for 1 month, now it is about 22 days - or 23 days, I don't remember exactly, but not 1 month! I could only publish the photos by adding the location! The whole situation smells like fraud! Unfortunately!
Everyone should decide how fair this is towards any applicant who does not know exactly where they are applying! They mislead the artists and everyone else who, for example, goes to an exhibition, it is unpleasant, the whole place is small and cramped, the pictures distort what you see on the...

Sajnos! 🤫😒

Read moreIf you're checking the reviews cause you're thinking about applying for they're numerous yearly contests. DON'T!!!!! SAVE YOU'RE MONEY AND TIME! PH21 like many other galleries are in business of taking money away from unknown photographers. "PAY FOR POSSIBLE PLAY" isn't worth it! Think about it, is this gallery really going to have you're best interests at mind? All I got from them was you're standardized email which doesn't address you as a human and is auto-send without having an option to reply back. What's more SAD is that they expect me to follow them on social media to add to they're luring traps, so others fall prey to PH21 "PAY FOR POSSIBLE PLAY". If you're considering to apply for a contest or want to buy photographs from this gallery. My suggestion is Don't, lets work together to end "PAY FOR POSSIBLE PLAY" I think photographers deserve a little more respect and...
