Boutique Hotel Sopianae — Hotel in Pécsi járás

This hotel is just amazing. We were with my girlfriend for a weekend in pecs and we couldn’t find anything. This place offers us a room for one person and adapts an extra bed for as to sleep, we've ended up paying less than a hostel double room. Plus by checking the prices it's cheaper, but better to book straight from the hotel than w apps. Very clean and comfortable, our room had a mini fridge, a tv, great heating system, bed was very comfortable, the staff is very kind and respectfully, everyone we had contact in the hotel. Next morning the big surprise, because breakfast was included, we did expect something very simple according to the price of the place, the big slap of happiness, the breakfast was amazing, super delicious and thought on every detail, as we were some of the last people before breakfast time end the person who is in charge of the breakfast came out from the kitchen carrying a tray with hot croissant saying ”the last people are the same as the first”, everything was a being in topped up even if it was 15 minutes before breakfast time ended. I planned to come to Pécs for a business trip, which was canceled last minute because of the anti pandemic measures. However, I forgot to cancel my booking in Boutique Hotel Sopianae and was reminded by Booking.com on the second day of my reservations. While canceling the reservation 2-3 days prior the trip would mean no charges, for such late reservation charges were to be applied. So I would pay from my pocket or I would look dumb at work asking them for reimbursement. I wrote immediately to Boutique Hotel Sopianae, apologized and asked them to cancel the rest of the reservation and asked what will be the penalty. To my surprise, I got immediately a message that my reservation was canceled with NO FEES. I hope I will get to Pécs once and I will definitely stay in Boutique...

Easily reachable since it's located by the main road (58) which is coming from the south side of the city.I must emphasize friendly staff, nice breakfast, good wi-fi coverage, cleanliness and above all its' location.Maybe rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but they are very comfortable and clean.It is only 2 minutes walking to a nearby biggest shopping mall ARKAD in Pecs and 3 minutes to main street which leads to branches of numerous streets with historical attractions, cafe's and restaurants.||I suggest making a reservation for car parking place since it has only a few.||It is well balanced value for money payed and would sure stay there again, whether it is one or few nights.It is suitable for solo travelers, families, couples, which is hard to...
