Mátrix Hotel — Hotel in Szegedi járás

This is a small, two floors hotel located at the wider city centre quarter, just behind the main entrance to the Novotel hotel (this is written just as an orientation point) and the second, larger bridge over the Tisa (Tisza) river. ||Rooms and all spaces of the hotel, including the breakfast dining room are clean, well maintained.||The best part of the staying at this hotel was the fact that the mineral, thermal water runs through the pipes in the shower room - meaning you are like in the spring spa during showering. ||The breakfast is served on a self-service principle, and although smaller in size of the tables, it has all one could need and wish for breakfast, including:|five varieties of cheese, three to four meat cold cuts (ham, sausage, kulen and on the second day also boiled turkey ham), seven tea bags assortment, four fruit juices, and almost a professional class coffee making facility with a selection of Espresso, Ristretto, Caffè Lungo...||As it was Easter, hotel even decorated the boiled eggs. ||The staff is completely OK, and hard working, maintaining multi-tasking operations at peak times (breakfast and check-out).||Hotel has a nice garden (yard) in the backyard, small but nicely planned and organised, also suitable to park up to six cars.||The only bad sides of the hotel are the fact that all TV channels are in Hungarian language, including the overvoiced movie channels, and the additional daily fee for use of the air-conditioning in room.||But, when in Szeged/Segedin, one anyway uses room only to sleep over night - there are so many beautiful things to see and do in the city itself, that TV and air-conditioning in the room are least...

Very nice hotel, with parking place in front of the Hotel and behind. Recepcionist girl (i think Leticia) is very kind and helpful. We stay just one night in duble room with big comfortable bad... Cosy room and hotel. Brekfast is tasty and nice (6eur), restoran is modern, with all you need to good breakfast. Location:cca 10 min.slowly walk to the city centre. Very peacfull place, recomended. Leticia recemonded us very good restoran, near hotel (HB) - food is domestic, tasty, BIG portion for normal price. Thank you for botle vine and nice hospitality. Recomended Matrix hotel....
