I think that the situation that I'm writing is solvable and we don't have to make the decision to not come again! We came with my family of 2 children (one infant and one 6 year old) and then we wanted to eat, we went to the second floor bistro inside. My wife and mother in law staid for approximately 30min to try to pay via credit card! At the cash register the girl didn't know English at all and it was very hard to communicate with her, we tried to pay with 2 credit cards because she was trying to tell us that our credit card didn't work (although there was a man who paid with a credit card from the same bank). The last time my wife tried to pay and the girl didn't even told her that the transaction was not ok and she cashed other costumers, leaving my wife and our 2 kids guessing that nothing is OK but she didn't even received an error transaction receipt, and that they couldn't eat the food. She didn't even bother to say nothing!! And that is unacceptable... When we tried to leave, after I paid my wife's parking ticket, she couldn't get out of the parking lot because the parking barrier wouldn't open and had to park again and go to the reception with the proof that she paid so that the security guard can open and she could leave... Imagine the stress of a mother with 2 kids in the car, going through the parking lot 4 TIMES and trying to get out but the parking lot barrier wouldn't open... And the icing on the cake, when we came home, my mother in law told me that she has a transaction on hold for the food that we didn't ate at the bistro from the second floor BEACOUSE "THE POS DID NOT WORK" (said the girl from the second floor Bistro cash...
Read moreLONGEST WATER TUBE SLIDE ON EARTH? I LOVE this place! I'm from New York City and have been to my share of spas and Water Parks. This place is massive, with an optional discounted admission for people wanting to do just lap swimming in an outdoor pool that's operational during the winter months! Bring your own towel though if you want to save money -- everything here is extra. But I was mostly interested in the giant enclosed water slide that towers above the building, spins around the it, snakes around outside the building and then empties back into one of the indoor pools. I checked for the length of the longest tube slides on Earth and this seems to have them beaten and yet it's not marketed that way! It's 30 meters high and 272 meters long -- an elevator brings you up. Since it was the evening, the majority of the tube was enclosed in darkness, so when I started sliding through... it kept going and going and going -- kind of like a nightmare I've had where I'm sliding through pitch black, not knowing where I'm going or where I'll end up or when it's going to end. Definitely not for someone who's claustrophobic! Truly terrifying; I LOVED IT! When I landed in the pool at the end -- I looked around to see if people really KNEW the insanity that I just encountered! No one cared or noticed, but I was blown away! If you're into Water Parks, and are in the area, check this one out. The health pools are also abundant and relaxing. So much to offer. Definitely worth the price of admission, which was about $19 for the day at current exchange...
Read moreToday, January 6th, 2025, I visited Aquapolis Szeged at 6:36 PM. I requested two tickets for myself and my wife, specifically tickets valid for the time slot after 1700. I asked the cashier if the facility is open until 20:00, to which she replied "No, it is open until 8 pm." I smiled and mentioned that it was the same thing. She dismissed me with a wave of her hand in a disrespectful manner. Upon leaving at 7:51 PM, I asked her to process the payment for my parking ticket. She directed me to the machine in the parking area. I knew that payment could also be made at the cashier, so I kindly asked her not to make us stand in the cold outside and to process the payment at the counter inside the Aquapolis hall. She processed it but threw the ticket at me without providing the receipt for the POS payment. I requested the receipt and informed her that I would file a complaint regarding her impolite and entirely inappropriate attitude for her position. I do not know if this person is looking to grow professionally, as she is young, but unfortunately, the attitude of complete disregard that she displayed is a significant weakness for your establishment. It would be appropriate to review the footage to see how she threw the ticket and question whether she is the right person to interact with...
