The Belvárosi Bridge in Szeged, Hungary, is the main bridge of the city, connecting Újszeged, on the left bank of the river Tisza, to the other quarters. It was the only crossing on the river in the County until the finishing of the Bertalan Bridge in 1979.

It is rhe main bridge of the city. It is easy to cross to the other side, but beware that the two opposing walking lanes are one for bicycles only and the other for people. It is partially made from steel after 1944 destruction. The original was build between 1880 and 1893, and it is possible that Gustav Eiffel had some workings on the...

Choose this bridge (and always the right side from the city) but otherwise not a great experience. At least cyclist usually know not to take the sidewalk but...

Die Brücke ist wunderschön, historisch, schöne Aussicht auf den Theiß bzw. Richtung Innenstadt - wie der Radfahrerverkehr gelöst ist jedoch der grösste Schwachsinn den ich je gesehen habe! An der einen Seite der Brücke dürfen nur die Radfahrer auf dem Gehsteig fahren (was wegen der hohen und scharfen Bordsteinkante lebensgefährlich ist) , der Gehsteig an der anderen Seite wäre für die Fußgänger gedacht. Nur wissen bzw. berücksichtigen tut es keiner, deswegen ist der Verkehr hier...

Szeged klasszikus öreg hídja. A Belvárost köti össze Újszegeddel. A háború során természetesen ez sem "úszta meg szárazon", újjá kellett építeni. Az építkezés alatt pallók voltak a félig kész híd szerkezetre fektetve, tériszonyosoknak nem volt ajánlatos az átkelés. Ma már békésen lehet ábrándozni, nézni a lusta folyó hömpölygését.
