Happy Stays - Whitefield — Hotel in Bengaluru

We had a bad experience staying at this hotel. Basic needs weren't met. Rude owner. Room and lobby were dull and nothing like shown in pictures on google.

1. The hot water wasn't available. I had kids with cough and cold and this was a very basic requirement for bathing. Inspite of calling the room service they would say wait for five mins it will come but I waited for hours and ultimately had to bathe with cold water.
2. Lifts stopped working as we were checking out so we had to carry our luggage from 3rd floor using the stairs.
3. The udupi restaurant had the owner serving at the billing counter. He was taking orders and looking in my wallet asking for change which he could see when I already tendered him the change in the afternoon though they open early morning and I had already given him the change he was asking minutes ago. Very rude to ask for notes he was peeping in my purse which I noticed and asking me to give more change. So petty and impolite. He was very rude and didn't return the change. Then I searched for coins at the end.
4. Room had mosquitoes.
5. They gave us a room near storage room where all their staff were making noise every now and then. We asked them to give a quiet room and this is what they offered. Terrible!

In one sentence, I will say it was my worst stay, and I would never ever go to this place again.|Liked · I was charged rupees hundred per person per day for buffet breakfast. Breakfast consisted of good spread. Normally, people expect omelette and doses which were not included in the buffet breakfast. Sagar, who was at the service, was excellent.|Disliked · On the first day, there was no water in the wash basin. Due to this, I had to change over to another home. In this room, I found, some work going on the above floor, which was a terrible disturbance. In spite of requesting them to see if Something can be done, they did only after we left with a real big headache. Now, something about the manager of the hotel. Not at all, courteous, and does not even wish you. I saw him in the restaurant at the breakfast time. In spite of knowing that I am a reviewer of booking.com, he still did not even give a nod of good morning. I would say, he is not a proper placement. On the last day of my four days stay, I came to know that the quality of water supply was very bad because I found the buckets very dirty. In spite of the housekeeping boys cleaning the buckets, it was not up to the mark of cleanliness sadly. Myself and my wife had itching all over the body just because of the quality of water. I recently stayed at Happy Stays, Bangalore, and true to its name, the experience was genuinely happy and comfortable!

The property is well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped with all essential amenities. The washrooms were spotless, which is always a big plus. I especially appreciated the lift facility — very convenient.

In-room provisions were excellent: an electric kettle with coffee sachets, sugar, sugar-free options, and milk powder made it easy to enjoy a warm beverage anytime. There was also a mini fridge, perfect for keeping a few things cool. The hair dryer in the washroom was a nice touch — I actually got used to using it during my stay! 😄

They also provide shower gel and shampoo, so there’s no need to worry if you forget your toiletries.

There’s a good room service facility, which helps you order items according to your choice, adding to the overall convenience and comfort.

The staff were incredibly friendly and cooperative, many of them from the North East, and their warm hospitality really stood out. The restaurant on-site had a great ambience and served as a peaceful spot to enjoy meals.
