Read moreFood : Enjoyed a Good north Indian style food after a long time. Tried in starter with monchow soup (veg and non veg), it came with good combination of sour, sweetness and hot. Ordered chicken lollipop, tandoori chicken, prawn, babycorn chilli and fish. Prawn and chicken item were good. However, the fish was not that great. But ok type. Even babycorn chilli was of great taste. They have special item on champaran style. We were not lucky to try that one on that day. The biryani, I would say not great but ok ok type. The paneer chatpata was also of good taste. So overall, both veg and non veg food can be tried here. Lassi was average, can be avoided. Most importantly they mentioned they don't use plam oil for cooking, which is good.
Price: The cost wise all the items are within reasonable rate.
Ambiance: It comes with 2 sitting categories, one with traditional dhaba style and another with chair and table. I won't say it's that great but enjoyable. Of course, they don't have enough space for kids to roam around.
Parking: You need to park your vehicle on road, but it's not that unsafe as it is being guarded by their person.
Sanitaion: I would rate 2 star here, as they don't have a good wash room and toilet. And most of the times the tables were not cleared and floors were kept unclean.
Update on 26th April 2023: They have maintained quality good for most of the items. Fish finger tried, good. Mutton ghost was also good. Paneer lababdar can be skipped.
Updated on 16.06.2023 The champaran mutton was worth trying. You need to order by weight like 250gm, 500gm etc. The entire mutton curry cooked in mud pot is weighed and served to you. A suggestion is to use goat meat instead 9f lamb in order to avoid gamey smell or you van provide the option for user. Prawn 65 needs Tobe cooked bit more otherwise fine.
Updated on 1st Dec 2023:
Tried crispy prawn and mutton biryani. The biryani is avoidable, not good at all. Neither taste nor the sufgicient mutton, so at the end you will end up with khuska rice. I had to order another fish chilly to compensate. Hence reducing a star.
Updated on 9th Feb 2024: Other than lemon chicken and other starters, their main course items have been degraded a lot, the mutton ghosth...
