Here’s my honest review from my big day at this beautiful restuarant - with buffet! Not being biased at all. I wanted to genuinely thank them and give a complete review for this place. Firstly this place was recommended by my Boyfriend’s peer and initially i thought we will go with this place because 1. There was a frontyard with lawn that was the exact requirement for my engagement if not a hall. It looked very cozy and pretty. 2. Affordable food: buffet is a bonus and this place met both the criterias! I had called/ spoken to many venues but there was none that was worthy than this venue! The venue recommendation came at the time we were losing hopes for a perfect venue for our lowkey ring exchange ceremony all i cared was the ambience not the food. I just thought if the food is average its alright i just want the ambience to be cool. However, both of this ended up being way to perfect! I already loved the lawn area and they let my sibling/cousins decorate it as per our convinient. Did not charge extra althought we had mentioned that we are simply exchanging rings in our get together- which was the case! The manager, staff and everyone there were so humble, answered all our queries prior to the event. Also on the day of the event they never bothered us with anything and gave our family/friends all the space we need. Thanks to them it was too perfect! The best part was all our guests were way too happy with the food! It tasted so amazing as per them. I could see them all eating well. Even my fiance and I loved the food here! I happened to visit Marigold restaurant on a Friday evening and to my surprise the restaurant was empty which is very unlikely in any pub & restaurant in Bangalore. The reason may be the location. Anyways coming to the review, overall I would say the place is just okay and not very great. Below are major parameters that I would rate on: Parking: parking is available for I guess 3 -4  cars max and some bikes as well in the front of the restaurant, not sure if they have parking reserved somewhere else. Ambience: The open dining area is good with green lawn but mosquitos and the vehicle honking completely takes away the charm of the place. They have a buffet area and fine dining area as well which are very well maintained. Service / Hospitality: The service is not upto the mark at all. While the staff is very polite they do not have enough knowledge on guiding / recommending the customers towards a specific drink or cuisine or food. Food: Finally, The restaurant is known for their Kerala cuisine. We tried a couple of kerala sea-food starters (Squid & Prawns) which wasn't that great, it was made extremely spicy and had the smell & taste of raw spices. Chicken starter was just ok. I had a mug of Witty Wit Geist beer. They have options of standard beers (KF, Fosters, etc) and Geist beer only. We didn't prefer having main course since the starters weren't that great. Hope...
