A food lover's paradise. You can feel the positive vibes in air as soon as you enter this beautifully decorated place with staffs eager to welcome and serve you the delightful offerings that the place has to offer. I visited during the sea food festival and the place was decorated with a Mediterranean theme.
Lets get into some food now. From the food shot section, we tried the freshly made octopus and clam sushi and also the tofu sushi, it went well with the soy and also the honey mustard sauce. There was also poached clam with some garlic dressing and also there was seafood relish in vol au vent which is seafood mixed with some dressing and placed inside a puff pastry like cups. The shots also had pani puri, samosa chats and also dimsims.
Next they had tons of varieties in their starters like tandoori crab, lamb seekh kabab, thai chicken, prawns ghee roast, shawarma, squid rings in chilli oyster sauce, Phuket street chilli sharks and much more in veg options as well. The various types of starters were served quickly and each one had a different taste to it.
There were different soups and also breads to accompany them. Salad section also had a wide spread of options which were quite delicious. I loved the Turkish cold snapper salad and also the Korean Kimchi. In the main course, Moroccan seafood Biriyani caught my taste buds with perfectly cooked rice and masala. There were chicken, lamb and also seafood gravy along with it.
They had a live pizza counter where ypu could bring the chef inside you to work and try making pizzas, which was again a unique experience and we had fun doing that. They also had pasta and tawa counters where you could get the desired pasta.
Dessert section was an eye candy to anyone who has a love for sweetooth. Plenty of options like macaroons, brownies to pastries to cheesecakes to parafaits and all they way to hot and crispy jalebi with rabdi, also not to forget the gulab jamuns and boondi rasgullas. Everything were lipsmacking and you would eat it on and on. And to end it all they had nitrogen icecream section as well.
The food was great. Different flavours, different cuisines and lots of varieties to choose from. You will never run out of choices and the staffs in flechazo will make sure ypu get your choices even if those are not there in the menu. Trust me, its true.
The staffs were kind enough to ask for your preferences and cook them accordingly. They also cooked the dish that you wanted to try. Sonu and Sofi who served us were so friendly and polite in such a way, you will feel that you know them since ages. They brought us tandoori prawns which was not there on the menu and also they made sure that all the dishes had proper seasoning or masala like they way we preferred. They were ready to serve you a zillion times and made sure you got everything without delay. And the smile on their face was intact from start to finish. The Business Manager Mr. Rehmath Ali, Chef Arnav and also The manager Anil Kumar were so polite and kind enough to talk to you and ask about the experience. They also served us some special mocktails such as black current and also peach orange, which were again very delicious. All the staffs were very friendly and they made sure that their customers were happy. I would recommend this place without a doubt to anyone who would love to try various dishes and cuisines with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staffs. I would visit this place again. Kudos guys. Keep up the good work. I thank all the staffs out there at Flechazo for this...
Read moreWe went for lunch non-veg buffet and it was 900+, but we had got 20% flat discount through swiggy, so it came around to 800+. Since, it was a Sunday there was no welcome drink.
We reached Flechazo at 12 noon and there were just getting started for the lunch buffet. The lifts in the building were not functioning during this time.
We started off with the Chicken Manchow soup which was okish, but the fried noodles were dried and not crisp, as if the noodles was 1-2 days old and left out at room temperature, so I could sense it was not at all fresh and that itself was a turn-off.
Then came the chicken leg piece and the tikkas, both were bland with no taste and not cooked properly and not hot at all. We asked them to cook it properly and to bring it again, which they took time to bring in, where we were served crispy fried potatoes, which was again bland and breaking off, there was no sauce provided, kind of less/no sauce and the waiter told me to use the sauce at the table, which itself was soo watery. Next, the chicken leg and kabab pieces came which had now some life in it and was good. There was bbq wings which was okish. Then came prawns again bland, so we asked them to re-do in tandoori style which they mentioned will take time, so during this period of waiting we were not served mutton repeat/bbq wings repeat which we requested for. The basa fish was ok, but very small piece and 1 per person which they bring to serve and the mutton seekh kababs too were made very small. They were kind of serving very less as they hardly bring 2 small pc per person.
By the time prawns came, we requested for Paneer, Tofu and Pineapple, which came quick. Tofu was very soft and tasty and Pineapple starter, Crispy corn were good. Paneer was hard and not good.
The pizzas were good and that too they were scared to serve one small pizza per table.
From the live grill, the felafels were very very old/refried in the same oil multiple times, it was fresh when made. The chicken dimsums were not tasty. We didn't try anything from live grill counter, as we were totally let down by what we had been served so far in non-veg.
The server who was supposed to attend our table, didn't arrive after asking him to redo chicken, prawns etc. So we moved to desserts section. All the desserts were good, except for the taste of icecream that was being served. The icecream guy was doing very good job, but the quality of the icecream was pathetic. The doughnut micro minis (had no taste).
Also, the washroom is outside of the Flechazo restaurant, in the same floor, so even anyone needs to use restroom/wash hands, they need to go out of the restaurant. On returning from Flechazo, the lifts were functional. I would not recommend Flechazo to anyone, not at all worth 900+ INR with/without...
Read moreWe had a high perception about the venue as we had been to its whitefield restaurant pre covid time and wanted to experience same fun. Sorry to say, they have degraded in quality, and service. Not sure whether it was staff shortage or unnecessary competition with barbeque type restaurants in the town.
Food: you can get good options in non veg food for sure. The fish cutlet and tiki was good. Prawns were average, even the prawns are of small size. But for veg it would be nightmare. The pineapple honey was awful, even crispy potato or smashed potato starter was worth avoiding. In main course, the fish carry had no look for fish, all skins were out and only bones were there. The gosh curry had so oily smell may be because of lamb skin. They should try with goat meat. In dessert the sweets like jalebi and gulab jamun were much below avg. Of course you can enjoy their live dish counter, where I enjoyed shark popcorn, squid and fish items. This is ofcourse praiseworthy as it had unique experience in taste. There should be proper demarcation in distinguishing veg and non veg, especially in desserts.
Service: There is no serving of dessert, so unnecessary queue there. Everyone try to poke their dirty hands on the ice cream scoop as noone there to serve. No plates and bowls in sufficient. The staff should upfront ask for rotis, kulchas required for each table to avoid delays instead of we look for it.
Ambience: it's average. Luckily we got a separate hall for pur group. Otherwise main area looks but congested as people have to go through the narrow space which might disturb your mood. Looks like the admin has cut kitchen and main course serving area to accommodate extra seating space. This causes unnecessary queue in the main course area looking at seating capacity.
Sanitation: the toilets stinks. Much worse than sulav sauchalay. Like I mentioned above, they should strictly serve the food instead of self service, which they feel people might contaminate by touching and others may not be interested with compromise on hygiene. Another suggestion is to remove the raw sea food display from entrance as it gives bed smell like entering into fish market.
Moreover, it's easy to miss the restaurant as it is not clearly visible outside, so it's before the petrol bunk on service road when you are coming from karthik nagar towards...
