Treebo Edha Suites Koramangala — Hotel in Bengaluru

I don't know why this hotel has been given such great rating on google. Coming to my experience, the only good thing about this hotel was that it had big spacious rooms. I dunno if it was a bad day but everything kept going wrong since day 1. The hotel staff is quite lousy and fake hospitable. The WiFi didn't work most of the times. I had to change my room on day 2 cuz of short circuit. I could literally see the smoke coming out of the socket for key holder with a weird smell. Yeah, it was that alarming and scary. The breakfast was fine. On day 1, I had clearly instructed the staff for room cleaning while leaving out. After a good 5 hrs upon my return, I found my room to be as it is. Despite clear instructions, they failed to clean the room. This was sheer negligence and then they started giving excuses. Such behaviour is not acceptable especially when you're paying a bomb. Anyway, the room was then cleaned in 15 min upon my return. The staff keeps singing songs around the guests which is quite irritating. I could not get hot water on multiple occasions during evening and late afternoon. Like I said, it's a pretty old hotel. There's a kitchenette which is just for show piece. Also, once while I had called the reception to ask about the WiFi, I overheard a staff bad-mouthing a guest about how they want bigger rooms, WiFi, this and that. I purposely kept the call on hold and quitely listened to their entire conversation. This was beyond shocking. You should definitely move out of hospitality industry if you can't respect the guests and their needs. During checkout, I asked the staff to extend the time by an hour which they did. But just while I was about to leave and it was five minutes past 12 , I get a call. This was again irritating. Anyway, the mistake was mine. But such behaviour will never gain you repeat customers. My company arranged a one week stay at this place. The stay here was very pleasant and the front desk managers were very kind and friendly. Although I did not spend a lot of time in the room due to the tight job schedule however, the breakfast early morning ensured that I had enough energy to drive me through the day. Being from north India, I tend to prefer north Indian cuisines with a mix of some dosas and vadas thrown in and to be honest the breakfast did not disappoint throughout my stay with both north and south Indian food cooked every morning ensuring that no one felt left out. The rooms are spacious and provide all the essential amenities. They were cleaned during the day while I was at work and I would return to a spick and span room every night.
