NOTE TO THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT-
To, The General Manager, Halcyon residencies/condos Koramangala
This is to escalate and bring to your notice the unsupportive and inhospitable behaviour of your Hotel’s staff orchestrated by the duty manager stationed at the lobby on Saturday 5th March 6:15 pm.
We did not have proper locks for our bicycles, and requested REPEATEDLY and tried our best to reason with the guard and junior staff at the desk to park our bicycles in the SPACIOUS front porch, in a corner where they would be non obstructive yet in our eyesight so that we can have our coffee in peace, without worrying about the safety situation of our cycles. But to NO AVAIL, even after the guard and junior staff saw sense in our rationale, and all was settled, we were seated at the cafe placing our orders, that out sauntered your lobby manager and showing ZERO hospitality nor maturity, he started bickering with us about removing our cycles. He troubled us so relentlessly that we had no other choice but to leave without eating at the hotel.
Must note:
Two four wheelers were already parked there, which warrants to question about the idiocy of the whole fuss
Lack of understanding the customer’s situation and reason behind making a special request
Absence of basic courtesy to faithful returning customers like us, most of the cafe staff knows us by now, even if the lobby staff is inattentive to remember how we have celebrated significant life and family functions at your hotel, and booked suites enough times to know that there is always space in the huge porch of the hotel, especially under the green wooden trellis. 🤷♂️
Loss of our patronage to your property and a bad tasting experience, all due to the recklessness and borish attitude of one staff member - the duty manager around at the Lobby, the tall lanky fellow on 5th March 2022 at 6:15pm in the evening. That guy must be held accountable for misrepresenting and destroying the reputation your establishment had built with us over several years.

Read moreI stayed at this hotel for more than a month which is good enough to find the actual quality of the hotel. I am listing down the issues I faced: The infrastructure quality is very poor. I had been asked to change the room thrice due to maintenance activities. There was leakage in the bathroom water pipes which was causing the electricity to stop working. The food quality is really questionable. a) The Idlis are often sour in taste, which indicates the batter was old. b) The cold milk when poured in bowl had some powder like substance. I asked the staff about it and they said that its pretty normal. c) Once I ordered the Veg Pulao for dinner and later that night my stomach got upset. I thought it may be one off case, but later that week while having dosa for breakfast, I found the smell of the oil on dosa suspicious. And my stomach seriously got upset and I had to visit the doctor. After that incident, I stayed at my sister's place for the remainder of the trip. The confusion in laundry process. I took the laundry to reception first time, and the receptionist asked me to leave it in the room on my bed from next time onwards. I followed his words and started keeping the laundry on bed and I used to go to office by 9 am. The laundry was not picked up for two continuous days. And there was no note also about why they didn't pick up the laundry. I called the reception and asked about it. They sent the executive to the room to collect the laundry. That person told me that I need to give the laundry before 10 am otherwise they wont pick up the laundry. They should have informed the process to me initially. Maintenance quality. I reported an issue of leakage in the bathroom. They said they fixed it, but I found that not only the leakage wasn't fixed, the flush had stopped working. I had to call them again to fix it.

Read moreAbsolutely disappointed with my experience at this property. Despite reading reviews and choosing what seemed like a decent place for my family, what we got was utterly unacceptable.
From the very start, we were greeted with inefficiency and an appalling lack of customer service. We, a tired group of 8 adults and 6 young children, had to wait for a staggering 40 minutes just to check in, all while the reception staff seemed baffled and indifferent about our booking. Their unprofessionalism was evident when we were made to wait an additional hour for our second condo.
The rooms themselves were far from the standards one would expect. We were greeted with an unpleasant odor, necessitating the use of air fresheners. The bathroom size was comically small, and the lack of basic amenities like cutlery in the kitchen was shocking. We had multiple issues: a jammed toilet door, a non-functional AC, and a completely sealed-off kitchen in one condo! Not to mention, the absence of basic bath towels.
Ordering anything online was another ordeal as we had to personally walk to the security gate to retrieve our orders. Their swimming pool area? Filthy. And navigating the property, with no direct lift to the parking and having to pass through dingy, uncleaned areas, was nothing short of a nightmare.
The general attitude of the staff towards our grievances was the icing on the cake. Their cold, unresponsive demeanor indicated a complete lack of concern for guest experience.
I strongly advise against staying here. With subpar amenities, poor service, and an evident disregard for guest satisfaction, this property is not just non-recommendable, it's a place to be...
