FabHotel ESS Paradise — Hotel in Central Zone

Rooms are O. K. Services are very good. Located in prime. But to my bad luck, certain avoidable things happened from the hotelier side . Even though my booking is from 12.00, I reached the hotel only by 3.40 pm, because my train was late. When I reported in the reception, I got a reply saying that all a/C rooms are booked because of over booking and I have to wait for 2-3 hrs. When I questined back, then they were ready to give a non a/C room and refund the difference which is not even 100 bucks. When I refused to accept that offer, I was asked to cancel the the booking online and they offered to arrange some other accommodation. I rejected that offer. Then at last they provided a double, standard, non a/c room for 4 hrs and then shifted me to the original triple a/c room which was booked. The reason qouted is over booking by the apps. This hotel is situated very close to Central bus stand (Gandhipuram), and the con is at walkable distance.

The rooms here were not up to my expectations. As soon as I entered the room there was a heavy cigarette smell, when asked about it the room boy instructed me to open the window.

The restroom was really small and had water blockage even after 20 mins after use. Later I found a few cockroaches moving here and there.

Being awarded best option a few years ago this cleanliness doesn't do any justice to that. The charge for one night was Rs. 1568/- for A/C deluxe room per night when I visited.

I would suggest people to visit the hotel just opposite to this which I felt was cleaner, but nearly Rs.1,000/- higher. This hotel will be good only if you would like to take a bath and store your luggage at a cheaper cost.

It's budget friendly and that's all good about it. The staff's are very rude. I wasn't much fluent with the language. But I could understand it. They made fun of me for not knowing their language. Little did they know about mine to begin with. I showed them my govt issued aadhar which proves that I was 21 and still they were hesitant to give me the room. They even asked me to call my parents after they took money from me. They don't know how to handle a guest. The room was not so bad. The matress and sheets were clean. It smells like rotten wood though. The toilet looked like it isn't regularly cleaned. Very poor customer service. I don't recommend this place at all.
