Stayed here for a few days and was very impressed with the whole experience!
We arrived late in the night, and were dropped off in a scary looking dead end road, but staff welcomed us and brought us inside. We later realised it was not scary at all, and actually a very nice area.
Once we got in, we were welcomed by the owner Sahil, who gave us information on the hotel and checked us in, while the staff carried our bags up the stairs for us.
The rooms are spacious, very clean and well maintained, the only thing that might bother some people, is that the doors are quite loud when closing (and difficult to close quietly). Wasn't an issue for us, but maybe an issue if you are sleeping during the day.
There is a roof terrace with an amazing view of the park, you can see the beautiful Lotus Temple from there, and it is a great place to sit and have a drink with other guests.
The area is very quiet, situated right next to the park, and there is a security guard at the entrance at all times, so it feels very safe (not that the local area feels unsafe, quite the opposite, it seems like a nice area to be, even after dark).
There are some small shops nearby, and there is a main road, with even more shops (and a beer shop), a little further out.
If you are leaving on a flight in the early hours of the morning, make sure you ask staff for some assistance on where to get a cab, as it seems they close off lots of roads at night on weekends, which can make it very difficult to get a cab.
Overall, a wonderful experience, with very nice rooms and friendly staff, looking forward to staying here again...
Read moreDuring our recent stay at House of Comfort Delhi, we reserved three rooms for our family and were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional hospitality extended by Sahil and his dedicated team. From the moment we arrived, they ensured that every aspect of our visit was seamless and enjoyable.
The property itself is a serene oasis amidst the vibrant energy of New Delhi. Our rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed to provide utmost comfort. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made us feel right at home.
What made our stay particularly special was the personalized attention we received. Sahil and his team went above and beyond to help us celebrate my mother’s birthday, organizing a delightful surprise that made the occasion truly memorable. Their warmth and genuine care added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated.
The location of House of Comfort is also ideal, offering easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. Their recommendations for nearby dining and sightseeing were spot-on, enhancing our overall experience.
In summary, our stay at House of Comfort Delhi was nothing short of wonderful. Sahil and his team’s commitment to guest satisfaction is evident in every aspect of their service. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable and personalized stay...
Read moreWe stayed at this guesthouse in Delhi for one night in February 2024, misled by the many glowing reviews and 4* shown by Booking.com - so we expected the corresponding comfort of the 4* hotel. But we quickly canceled our next booking to leave the following day. On the positive side, the hosts were friendly, helped us carry our suitcase upstairs, allowed us to leave it for a few days while we traveled, and the property had a washer-dryer and food available. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed this: the shower setup was strange with some bucket, the room was dark, cramped, and cluttered with worn-out furniture, and the dim lighting created a depressing atmosphere completely different from the bright, spacious photos online. There was no soundproofing, so we could hear everyone, and the shared fridge for guests had an unpleasant smell.
P.S. If the hotel does not agree with my impression, that does not mean I lie. Besides, all the facts that I mentioned (tiny crampy room, bucket in the shower) can be seen in some(!) of the pictures posted in Google maps as well. Some pictures do look nice, but I can't say the same about the...
