We stayed in this hotel only for few hours. We wanted a room just to freshen up before visiting the temple and with elders having mobility challenges, we liked it's location. Even though it's on a somewhat dirty road, it's really close to the temple. We asked for the room price for 2-3 hours and was initially quoted INR 1200/ and then we bargained to reduce it to INR 800.||On 1st look, room was neat and clean though very small. Apart from standard features like AC, TV, Intercom it had a window facing the road, you can't really keep it open as it opens on the main road and windows of home/hotels opposite to it. For Privacy, it has to remain closed with curtains down.||Bathroom was a disappointment with damaged lock, flush not working properly. There was a board inside bathroom announcing INR 500 penalty for washing clothes. We were not there to wash clothes, still it felt ridiculous. It should be mentioned as Hotel's policy on all portals where they sell rooms and also announced during check in. ||I checked the in-room menu card and items prices are on higher side, double/triple of rates in eateries around hotel. However, I'm not sure about the quantity and quality and hence can't comment on that.||We checked out after 3 hours and none was there from room service even though I called them. My husband had gone to the reception to make payment and reminded them also but none came. I loaded the luggage in the lift alone, stopping the door from closing every time and saw a man watching me. Well, when I got down at the reception, this man wheeled my luggage and I could understand that he was from room service. He was not in uniform, so I could not make out. ||Last bit came during the payment. We asked for card payment and the guy said 4% to be paid extra, my husband opposed saying that we are already paying a lot for just 3 hours and they actually agreed to not to charge that. When I handled the card for payment, they had charged that 4% extra. I told them they should have informed me before charging the extra they replied that they didn't ask for card payment. I asked for a bill and that was also not given saying that we didn't stay full day. I didn't stay full day but I paid for my stay and I should get a bill for that which they didn't and started showing me their printed tariff of INR 1650 as the lowest room charges and when I told that I was not even quoted that rate and a bill can always be given for a discounted price, they simply started saying that 4% will go to government only. I didn't have time and energy to fight, so we...

Read moreIf location matters most to you, then Hotel Sky scores a solid 10/10. It’s barely a 1-minute walk from the main Dwarkadeesh Mandir, making it a perfect spot for devotees and spiritual travellers. Situated right in the heart of the market and eatery zone, you won’t need to hunt for food or essentials or spend extra on transport.
✅ Pros: Prime Location: Just steps away from the Mandir – you’ll love the convenience. Everything Nearby: Food stalls, shops, and the buzz of the local bazaar right at your doorstep. Clean Rooms: Overall tidy, but do double-check the bed sheets and pillow covers. 24/7 Hot Water: A rare but welcome comfort. TV in Room: Good for downtime, especially after temple visits.
❌ Cons: No Jet Spray: Common issue across many hotels in the area, but still a letdown. No Complimentary Water Bottle: Small gesture, but its absence is noticed. No Morning Tea Service: You’ll have to make your arrangements. Bed Linen May Not Be Fresh: Ours felt reused – request fresh sheets at check-in.
Final Verdict: If you’re travelling on a budget with friends, this place offers excellent value and an unbeatable location. However, for a family stay, especially with elderly relatives or children, you may want to consider a slightly better-maintained option nearby.
It was our first time staying here, and while I may not return with family, I’ll consider it again for a short, no-fuss trip...
