During our recent visit to Dwarka, we had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Gomti, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped into the hotel until the end of our stay, we were treated to a delightful experience that combined comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.
The suite rooms we stayed in were incredibly spacious and well-ventilated, allowing us to relax and unwind after a long day of exploration. The attention to detail in the room's design and furnishings was evident, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
One of the highlights of our stay was the mesmerizing view of the Dwarkadhish Temple and the Gomti River. We were fortunate enough to witness the enchanting sunset views, and it added an extra layer of charm to our experience. The proximity to the temple and the river allowed us to engage in various activities and soak in the spiritual aura of the place effortlessly.
The hotel's in-house restaurant was a culinary delight. The delicious food served surpassed our expectations, and we found ourselves indulging in a wide range of flavorsome dishes. Whether it was traditional Gujarati cuisine or other regional specialties, each meal was a treat for our taste buds. The convenience of having such delectable dining options within the hotel was a definite plus.
The room with a Gomti River view that I had booked turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was well-appointed, providing a comfortable and cozy retreat. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist us with any queries or requests we had. Their helpful nature added a personal touch to our stay and made us feel well taken care of.
Being just a 5-minute walk away from the revered Shree Dwarkadhish Temple was a major advantage. We were able to visit the temple multiple times, immersing ourselves in its divine atmosphere. The hotel's recommendation to leave our phones behind, as mobiles are not allowed inside the temple, was a thoughtful tip that ensured we could fully engage in the spiritual experience.
From the exterior, Hotel Gomti may not give the impression of a high-end establishment, but once inside, it becomes clear that it is a well-maintained and spacious property. The staff members were efficient, courteous, and always ready to assist, which further added to our positive experience.
In conclusion, Hotel Gomti is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. The spacious rooms, breathtaking views, delectable cuisine, and attentive staff contribute to an outstanding experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dwarka and are confident that it will surpass your expectations, just as...
Read moreMixed feeling - Good location and clean hotel. Service and attitude of front desk staff could do much better
An otherwise very good experience at Dwaraka was dampened by the attitude of the front desk staff. The road that leads from main square to dwarakadish temple has been dugup for whitetopping so vehicles werent getting allowed.
We booked a few days before our visit and i specifically asked the staff if our vehicle could come all the way and if there would be any accessibility issues. The hotel staff confirmed we could get there and that they had limited parking (on a first come first serve basis)
To our surprise the road was dug up when we went there, our driver somehow managed to wade through the dugup road to help us reach hotel with all our luggages. On the day of checkout, the road had been blocked and our vehicle was stopped about 400-500 meters from the hotel. When we requested the front desk executive if they could extend help to move our luggages to the car he just bluntly refused and asked us to figure out our own way. We could not even get them strolling due to the state of the road the only way for us was to carry our luggages on a dug up remains of the road.
Even when we politely asked him about the help that most hotels offer the only response he could give was "I am doing what i am told by my management". Even when we asked him if it was ok for us to post a review on the same he was like "do what you want".
More than the actual response or lack of any help what took us aback was the attitude of the staff; we did not want this incident to ruin what had otherwise been a memorable trip to dwaraka so we ended up carrying our luggages in multiple trips...
