Cardozo Beach House — Hotel in Goa

My hotel room was not as shown while booking. It seemed they are providing fake photos on MMT booking page. The property which I booked was Cardozo guest house but this property doesn't even exists and I was accommodated in a substandard house. Facilities were nowhere near to my expectations. If you want to ruin your experience you go to this place.|Below are my concern for the house:|1. Misleading photographs were presented while booking this hotel.|2. Frequent power cuts and no alternative to power backup. Not even a candle was provided during powercut in night.|3. Bed covers and pillow covers were very dirty. It seemed that those were not cleaned for weeks. |4. No towels or any kind of toiletries were given. |5. Room size were very small as compared to shown on photographs while booking. |6. Windows were semitransparent glass and there were no curtains on it. |7. Reception was some 200 mtr away from the actual hotel room.|8. Reception guys were very rude they didn't return my identity card even after checkout. They kept making excuse that they don't have it and finally they returned it after half an hour...

Pros:

Rooms was spacious and comfortable.

Conveniently located near Calangute Beach, making it easy to access local attractions.

Cons:

Air conditioner was not working throughout the stay.

There was no TV in the room.

Washroom jet spray was not functioning.

Basic amenities like towels and other usable items were missing from the washroom.

Room cleaning was not done even after multiple requests, staff did not respond.

The fridge was in very poor condition and not working at all.

Verdict: If you're looking for a place just to sleep, this hotel might suffice. However, if you expect basic services and amenities, I would not recommend it. The room service was very poor and overall experience was...
