Romaldo Guest-House — Hotel in Goa

I based myself here for the best part of 3 months some time ago. It's an ideal location if you want to relax, party, eat great food or get to meet some of the friendly locals. Importantly, safe. So if you feel like a trip outside the norm with the kids, this is the perfect place to stay, with a lots of fun things to do locally. Manu who runs the quest house, will take care of you, show you around, cook you a good meal and provide a cold beer on arrival after a lengthy journey (depending on where you travel from)and point you in the direction of the beach, which is no more than 18 seconds away. Yes, you can hear the sea as you drift off to sleep from any room at the guest house. Cannot beat that! The rates to stay are lower than you would expect, given distance you are from the beach/sea. Providing a healthy breakfast of your chosing. You will find a vast array of options for food, but given that you are in Goa, you must have Manu's Goan Fish curry. The rooms cater for family's, couples or even the solo traveller. Each room has a TV and fridge, with comfortable beds, clean showers, lining changed daily. I genuinely advise anyone who has travelled their way around India, to reward yourself and stay and feel welcome here, just don't tell...

A friend passed away in their room and they were asking me for £180 for a new mattress . A person lost their life and all that mattered was a mattress that incidentally had no damage No bodily fluids escaped as was said . Appalling chasing me to the taxi the day I was leaving demanding money His electronics which were old were left in India and he had no cash only bank card to which I have no access . I am travelling 9 days early as I was not comfortable being in holiday after the passing of my friend . And i cannot understand the language so i was just told 200 for the driver you were in the same car as me why did you not say something at the time . I see other reviews about your arrogance and rudeness so i will not lose any sleep over your sad reply 😌 a life was lost show some respect And how dare you comment on me not carrying the body to the van I was told by the police to sit down and stay where I was . I had no choice in the matter . And also you knew where I was staying instead you harass my friend Arun sending him invoices etc when I was only 50ft away in the building next door Also I paid for the stay from my own pocket for which I had no reason to but I did out of respect . I hope you sleep well arguing over a person...

The room was big enough with three beds, with TV, Fridge,AC, Fan which is good enough for a long stay. walking distance to Calangute beach and the beach was not crowded and Shacks to relax. In the people in Guest house was very helpful and i have got a bike from the guest house with a good deal which made even more comfortable for a visit around. only problem which i had face was with wifi facility which was poor in the room but you can surf net near the owner house but informed this problem to Manual who is in charge they are in process of upgrading the internet connection. Another problem was power which was frequent and due to hot weather its difficult however this problem is across Goa.

I would suggest if people looking for good stay with good food and near by beach to relax with no much crowed then am sure you will have good time and also with bike with less price for you travel across. i was lucky to get a good deal price in clear trips. Wishing you good and pleasant...
