Casa Casita Candolim — Hotel in Goa

I stayed in this boutique AirBnb Casa Casita a few days ago. As it’s a family-owned home, the approach is also not that of a hotel. Clean, neat, tidy and very well maintained B&B.

Upon reaching there I saw a cute snack basket that they had placed close to my bed. Room was spacious, having a cute reading corner and a huge bathroom. It had all the basic amenities such as AC, Refrigerator, Kettle, Tea coffee supplies, Wi-fi etc. The bed and the linens are of a good quality ensuring a good sleep quality.

Although they do not have in house food facilities. The breakfast offered is sufficient. I had cut fruit, Idli Sambar and Dosa along with Tea and biscuits. You will also find a menu card of a restaurant that delivers food at a very reasonable rate.

I was staying solo and came back late nights as well. Throughout it felt safe as its gated. There is a caretaker – Russel, available throughout and CCTV cameras active.

Each room at Casa has a small balcony. This B&B is away from the hustle bustle of the main road, so ensures a peaceful night. There is construction going on all around although it doesn’t disturb you.

It offers free private parking too.

The best part – The less crowded part of Candolim beach is less than a km away. A couple of big hotels – Hyatt Centric and Novotel are just a walk away. Casino is close by as well. A lot of nice cafes and eateries are within walking distance.

The hosts – Arpita and Sanjay went above and beyond in terms of accommodating my last-minute requests. They were not only welcoming but also approachable all the time. Their warm hospitality can be felt through...

We stayed here for 3 nights and the place was so amazing and comfortable. Very huge rooms with all the facilities like refrigerator, AC, very clean and comfortable bed with both side tables and lamps and cozy clean blankets, cupboard with hangers, mirror with a table to get ready, sofa cum bed, some fancy and cool chairs, a big balcony with table and two chairs, some vessels to use. And a very beautiful interior which gives you the best feeling of a holiday as it gives you a homely feeling. Also this is just 5-7 minutes away from Candolim beach which is very clean. I would highly recommend this place to everyone as this place have very good people who runs this and a very supportive staff. Also during our stay they have also opened a book cafe in this villa which is a very nice and unique concept of book reading plus having some nice and delicious snacks. Chef was also very nice and prepares very nice sandwiches and coffee. Amrita and Sanjay also helped us to give contacts to rent a bike and also provided cab driver details during checkout. We booked the place through the owner Mr. Sanjay. Initially we had selected some other property, but due to certain issues Mr. Sanjay insisted us to stay here. Which I was initially skeptical to take any other place than booked, but when I saw the villa, it's room and the welcoming staff, I was happy. We stayed in the villa for 3 nights, had a great time. Room is huge, with a nice balcony and a large washroom. The room comes equipped with a cozy bed, wardrobe, tv, tea/coffee maker, refrigerator, geayser in washroom and an armchair. The only downsides didn't like we're the armchair, which was not too comfortable and there was no wifi in the place, which were painful things to deal with, however, the staff was helpful and would run errands as you say, the host was accommodative and did not seem too money minded and helped us with cab, local guidance and others!
