We booked this so called resort for 3 nights for our trip. We were charged a hefty 12590 per night. This resort had nothing to offer other than a basic room with basic bathroom. The fancy jacuzzi had hot water only for a limited duration. The room had a poorly kept linen and a weird smell. No television no phone with power cut once or twice a day. There is no kitchen or in room dining service. So if one gets hungry, need to go to neighbouring shacks or resorts to eat. Which is a big big turnoff. This resort did not have any beach beds or benches either. So basically if you want to chill and relax , walk to the resorts next to Larisa !! They don’t have a all day kitchen, breakfast had parantha, Upma and eggs only. Upma was undercooked and parantha with almost no stuffings. On request for extra towels they provided only one, stating rest are dirty and they don’t have any fresh towels. So basically you are paying for just a very very basic small room and literally nothing else. And it’s not worth more than 4K a night. Please be mindful that if you book through inbound sale, you will be forced to pay the full amount of your stay before the Checkin. We realised we shouldn’t have fallen in this trap. The only good thing about this resort is a tree shade and one hammock in front of this premium shack. You will be kidding if you expect Wi-Fi here. “Misery that’s three feet above see level”

It’s bang on Morjim beach , you open your back door to pristine beach and a hot tub . Very clean, it is an absolute place for relaxing. Comfortable bed, clean and soft linen. An intentional dim lighting throughout Service is good, courteous, helpful. Bathroom is ok, can look at some maintenance there. Provided very soft towels and bathrobe. They provided basic toiletries. The whole experience is of seating space outside the room – chairs are comfortable What you don’t get : TV, work table, intercom, hair dryer, buffet breakfast. If you opt for breakfast it will be served a-la-carte in your room. Overall, a relaxing stay and only meant to spending time with yourself and the partner. Lot of restaurant options around and a taxi stand with fixed rates and no bargaining needed. I wish they make the room slightly brighter ,upgrade the furniture a bit and cover the entire area around the hot tub I think then it will be 5/5.

Beach View Room is the only best thing. One can access Morjim beach at anytime. It costly as compared to others. Also the breakfast is not complementary. So you have to buy a package of breakfast buffet which is costly. The price which we are paying for stay - atleast breakfast should be included. They does not have kitchen. They don't have proper shacks or beach beds with shade. Does not have proper lights in room. Its like very low light in evening, you cannot read something. So just for beach view and hot water tub - its like costly.

I had a mixed experience at LaRisa Beach Resort, Morjim. The highlight of the resort was undeniably its breathtaking location. Situated right on Morjim Beach, with easy access from our room, we couldn't have asked for a more picturesque setting.

The rooms themselves were quite pleasant, with tasteful decor and comfortable amenities. However, our initial excitement was dampened by the strong odor and malfunctioning AC in the first room we were assigned. Thankfully, the staff swiftly addressed the issue and promptly moved us to another room, which was clean, well-maintained, and more to our liking.

During the check-in process, we had the pleasure of interacting with a delightful staff manager, whose name regrettably slipped my mind. She was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. However, our experience took a turn when a different manager took over. His demeanor and attitude were notably rude, which was a stark contrast to the warm hospitality we had received earlier. Additionally, we discovered that there was no landline in the room, leaving us with no choice but to contact him directly on his mobile phone for any assistance or requests. Unfortunately, each time we reached out to him, his responses were laced with impatience and rudeness. Frustrated by his attitude, we decided to minimize our interactions and make the most of our stay without any further demands.

On the following day, we requested breakfast, and the manager casually mentioned that someone would be sent with a menu. Assuming that breakfast was included in our stay, as we had paid a substantial amount for the hotel, we placed our order as if it were a buffet system. The lack of clarity regarding the breakfast arrangement became apparent only during checkout, when the manager informed us that it was not included and we would have to pay for it separately. Naturally, this came as a surprise and disappointment. While I pointed out the absence of clear communication, the manager insisted on charging us at the à la carte rates.

Reluctantly, I paid for the breakfast, but it was frustrating because it would have been the responsibility of the chef or the person taking the order to inform us of the available options and the associated costs. A breakfast package could have been offered to us, but unfortunately, this was not the case. Throughout this interaction, the manager's tone and attitude were disrespectful, which only intensified my frustration. When I mentioned that I would include all of this in my review, his response was particularly disheartening. He replied in a threatening tone, insinuating that they could respond to the review in a retaliatory manner.

In reflecting on my experience, I recall the saying that in any confrontation, the tone is 90% of the issue, with the actual problem accounting for the remaining 10%. This quote perfectly encapsulates my stay at LaRisa Beach Resort.

Overall, I would recommend staying at this resort solely for its beautiful location, which offers stunning views of the beach. However, I must caution future guests not to expect a satisfactory staff experience. Unfortunately, in this aspect, the resort fell short of expectations, and the manager's attitude left a lasting...

I booked the larissa morjim goa for a 9 night stay..it was a beach facing property n had all the amenities I was looking for..I paid almost a lakh n a half ...when I got there I saw there was no TV or hairdryer even though it was among the inclusions mentioned on their website along with a buffet breakfast.. The second night I was moved into another room bcoz the AC was making a noise with ice pieces flying out..the wifi wasn't working and so the third night I was moved back into the old room with the ac repaired..on the 4th night it cooked off again n I was asked to move into another room which I refused so waited while the ac was repaired again..the washbasin tap was broken n moving around every time I used it..the towel rack dropped off n was never repaired..the menu for room service had about 6 items only n there was no breakfast buffet but only a menu to choose from with about 5 items only..the worst breakfast I have had with the toast like rusk..On the 8th night I was there I heard my room door rattle after which i slept ..sometime at night I heard the glass door that opens to the balcony make a noise n when I turned I saw a man in a hoodie leaving my room...I froze n wondered if I had imagined it..the next day when I went out for lunch I discovered that all the cash in my handbag had disappeared..I had about 40k..I was terrified that someone had really entered my room while I slept..I was a woman alone n anything could have happened..what if I had shouted n tried to stop him?I informed the hotel authorities n they were so calm about it ..there was no cctv n they argued that this had never happened before n how trustworthy goans are n how many millionaires had stayed here..they did nothing about it n I asked to meet the manager n he said he would look into it but nothing was done..who did it I can't say but definitely someone who knew I was alone n knew the layout of my room n knew I was checking out the next day.. Anyway I checked out n moved into another hotel for my last night here...I was terrified at what could happen n what could have happened and the staff were least concerned about such a serious issue..

I would not recommend this place to anyone since no one should ever have to experience something like this..somewhere where there is no security or safety for the guests and the careless attitude of the staff made it so much worse..neither were they sympathetic or apologetic..even when I told them I was moving to the hotel across the road none of them even offered to carry my...
