Dear Staff of Lotus feet cottages; Three days prior to our arrival, we had a discussion with your manager and inquired with him that we were arriving early, and if an early check-in would be possible, for which we were told we would be given check-in at 9.00 am without any additional cost. However , a day prior to our arrival, we received a call from Mr. Pankaj saying check-in would be at 2.30pm. When asked why the change, he said he was the night staff and had no idea. On our arrival, Miss Yogita too did not have any clue about what we were promised. It is indeed sad if each of your staff conveys different things to the customers. However, in our review too, we mentioned your kindness in granting us an early check in.
Regarding the sand being in the room, we had conveyed the same to Miss Yogita BEFORE leaving the resort premises, so there was no question of returning from the beach and sand entering as wrongly stated by you. However we were told cleaning was not possible on the day of check-in, to which we agreed and accepted. No option was given for cleaning upto 6pm as mentioned by you in your reply. You can check the cctv footage. When asked to remove the lizard from the room, the housekeeping staff Dipti answered us rudely, which we chose to ignore, only to find my foot stepping on the lizzards tail. When we were leaving the resort, the manager asked us what inconveniences we were having, and the housekeeping staff Dipti was also present. She started screaming at us and arguing, to which I told her "As she is a lady I am respecting her, if it was a man I wouldnt think twice", I dont think that is called assaulting. When my wife was speaking to me in English , your housekeeping staff said , " Angrezi mein baat mat karo". I dont think housekeeping staff have the right to tell me and my wife in which language to speak. She even told us, "Tum jahan khade ho woh meri jagah hai". To all this the manager just kept quiet and did not even correct her. When asked for the owners number , we were told by the manager, " Nai milega, jo karna hai karo". As a consumer and guest, I guess we have the right to speak to the owner if the manager is not solving the issue.
I dont think it is hospitable for guests to be treated in this manner.
So, as far as being a better guest, I would never wish to stay in your resort again. But, I do hope your staff can be better hosts and respect guests more. And if they feel, "Hum jaha khade hai woh unki jagah hai", then itts better u let them occupy the resort, as GOA is not...
Read moreOur recent stay at Lotusfeet was an extraordinary testament to the impeccable service provided by their outstanding staff. In particular, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Yogita, Hussain, Deepti, and Abhishek (the owner) for going above and beyond in a time of need.
It's often said that while facilities can be bought, services cannot, and this sentiment couldn't be truer in our experience. Our stay took an unexpected turn when faced with a medical emergency, and it was the Lotusfeet staff who became our unwavering support system. Yogita, Hussain, Deepti, and Abhishek demonstrated an exceptional level of commitment, compassion, and competence that made all the difference.
Their prompt assistance and in-depth local knowledge were instrumental in navigating through the challenges of the situation. In the face of adversity, the Lotusfeet team shone brightly, turning what could have been a stressful experience into a much smoother and more manageable journey.
We are truly grateful for the genuine care and dedication exhibited by the Lotusfeet staff. It's not just a hotel; it's a place where the staff's kindness and commitment turn a stay into an unforgettable experience. Kudos to the entire team for setting a standard of service that goes beyond expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Lotusfeet to anyone seeking a genuine and compassionate...
Read moreThe cottages are beautiful and staff is good, the resort itself is not that big so you don't feel like staying there during the day plus there was a mouldy smell in the room (the kind that u smell when there's heavy seepage in cemented structure) this was all wood so kot sure what it was or if it was in the air because if rains.. I jas a baby with me so motly kept windows open, staff sprayed freshner n everything but maybe they could not have done anything better. No breakfast buffet, the staff will tell you what's for breakfast but they did take special request for baby based on what was available. It's very close (1-2 min walk) to Morjim beach but if u are reaching at night or coming back from beach at nighht then the location and the road leading to the place is not that great/lively. It's the infrastructure of the area, no Street lights or very low. Someone visiting first time might be scared but Goa is safe otherwise so we...
