If you're searching for the ultimate sundowner spot in North Goa, Blue Turtle in Morjim should be at the top of your list. Unlike the usual crowded beach shacks, this hidden gem offers a peaceful retreat where you can truly soak in the beauty of Goa without the chaos. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, with ample parking and warm, welcoming hosts ensuring a comfortable experience from the moment you arrive.
The menu is a true celebration of locally sourced, fresh ingredients, with dishes that are both satisfying and packed with flavour. The portion sizes are generous, making them perfect for sharing. Some standout dishes include the Recheado Prawns, which come with around nine prawns coated in a tangy, spicy recheado masala that captures the essence of Goan cuisine. The Mediterranean Skewers are grilled to perfection, offering a balance of smoky and savoury flavours. The Quattro Chicken Pizza, with its crisp base and rich toppings, is another must-try for those who enjoy a hearty, well-balanced bite!
No sundowner is complete without a good cocktail, and Blue Turtle’s bar does not disappoint. I tried Blue Turtle Colada, Turtle Mania, Turtelini, and Yuzu Blossom, each bringing its own unique flavours to the table. If you have a specific preference, their bartenders are happy to customise cocktails to suit your taste, adding to the personalised experience.
What truly sets Blue Turtle apart is the overall experience it offers. You can spend the day by the beach, take a refreshing shower in their well-maintained facilities, and then relax on their cozy beach beds with great food, drinks, and music as the sun sets. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening, a laid-back catch-up with friends, or just a moment of tranquility by the waves, this spot delivers it all effortlessly. Goa doesn’t get better than this!

Read moreExtremely disappointed. We had a horrible experience at the restaurant. We requested for the manager to come and expressed our dissatisfaction. He apologized and asked us not to write a review. Since he only addressed my husband in his request, I feel the need to explain our experience here. Oh, and that was his way of solving the problem. He also brought a piece of paper at the end and asked us to write everything we just told him. What a joke for a customer complaint handling.
Things that went wrong: We sat at the beach front part. We asked for RO water but were told they only serve it at the main part, not on the beach. Here we would have to purchase mineral water. We asked if fish appetizer wasn’t spicy as we ordered for the child. Was told it wasn’t. Yeap, it was…. We were told we can walk on the beach and take a dip. We did. Child came back and got on the chair. Water and sand on his legs. Was told off by the staff not to put our two year old on the chair. Seriously? On beach chairs with water proof cushions? Ordered through zomato. Your promo stated 15% off and two comp desserts. Staff had no idea when we asked about it. Eventually they figured it out. Husband had to go and ask again and wanted to know what desert since I wanted to order coffee with it. Was told with irritation that we will only get bibinka since we are not paying for it. Seriously, they made us feel that we came to beg for free food after they discovered we used the promotion you yourself offer us. Clearly not out of charity but because you , like many businesses , are struggling to attract new customers. That’s not the way to get a good reputation. *for the very first time in our lives, we requested for service charge to be removed.
Attaching a picture of the chair the staff told us off for….right there...
Read moreHeard a lot of positive feedback on this restaurant so decided to try it out to celebrate a special occasion. Plus point first great location, the view of the beach beautiful aesthetically very soothing decor and well planned. That's all... Very very dissapointed with the food.Nothing worked. The combination of flavours was totally out of tune, the fusion of cuisines was unbalanced, most of the food came to the table cold. Overloaded with thick sauses and unplanned garnish. The Lamb cutlets tasted more like a mini cheese burger from Mc Donald with the bun missing. The chicken skewers had absolutely no flavour. The prawn tartlets or toast did not have any flavour of prawns as it was buried under a sweet gooey dressing. We decided to not stay for dinner but move to another restaurant. To make up for the sad experience the Manager offered us a complementary dessert with a candle to celebrate. Sadly I wish they had not. It just added salt to the wound. I still cannot figure what it was ....all I saw was cream and cream . Would I go back ...no not until they get their act together. The Chef needs to get his menu scrutinized and take feed back from people who know what good food is all about and not base their sucess from the feedback given by customers who have no idea what they are eating as they have murdered their pallets with sweetened beverages and cheap hookah. My advise don't try to overdo things keep it simple, flavoursome and fresh. The service was very lartigic had to put a lot of effort to get the attention of the...
