I had a wonderful 6-night stay at Naga Satyavati Hotel, located just a short walk away from Ashwem Beach, and I must say — it was one of the best deals I’ve had in Goa! Right from the beginning, I was warmly welcomed by the manager, Mr. Raman Thakur, who made the check-in process smooth and friendly. The booking experience was seamless too — I initially booked a semi-deluxe room, but after speaking with the owner Mr. Lakshman, who was extremely understanding and accommodating, I was upgraded to a Sea View Room with Balcony (at just ₹1,400 per night, likely because of the off-season). This room had a king-size bed, great ventilation, and was spacious enough for both work and relaxation. The bathroom was larger than most city hotels, with ample space, clean fittings, and plenty of natural light. The room came equipped with: • A mini refrigerator • An electric kettle • A smart TV connected to Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout the stay) • A working air-conditioner (AC) • A slab/shelf area for quick-use items, with complimentary tea bags, sugar, and mugs/glasses • A work table, which was super handy since I was working during my stay Daily housekeeping provided two 500 ml water bottles, and the staff was extremely courteous, always ready to assist — whether it was parking, room needs, or general queries. There’s even an intercom to directly connect with reception and place quick food orders (though I didn’t try their food since I used my rice cooker for meals). Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: • Ashwem Beach is right behind the property (literally a minute’s walk) • Morjim Beach is close by • Arambol Beach is a 15-minute drive • Querim Beach around 25–30 minutes away • Several beach shacks, supermarkets, fruit and vegetable shops, and local eateries are within walkable distance (~200m) • The property has parking space for 3 cars and a few two-wheelers, which was a huge plus. This stay was not just budget-friendly but also comfortable, peaceful, and work-friendly, even with my 10-year-old son accompanying me. Highly recommended — whether you’re a digital nomad, a family traveler, or a couple looking for a serene getaway. Also, check out the video tour of the room. You’ll get a clear idea.

Staying at Nagas Hotel Satyawati was nothing short of an amazing experience! As a content creator based in Germany 🇩🇪, and someone who frequently visits Goa, I can confidently say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The moment I stepped in, I knew I had found a gem. The rooms are not only beautifully designed but also provide breathtaking views that make waking up in the morning a true joy. The attention to detail in the décor, cleanliness, and comfort was remarkable. The hotel is located in a prime area, surrounded by international travelers, making it a melting pot of cultures while still offering peace and tranquility. One of the most important aspects for me, especially when traveling, is safety, and I can’t emphasize enough how safe I felt during my entire stay. The hotel staff is attentive, polite, and always there to help, making you feel at ease no matter what time of day or night. This place is perfect for both international tourists and Indians, and I noticed that it has a certain charm that draws people in. Many fellow Indians I met were equally impressed by the experience here. The service is comparable to that of a five-star hotel, with everyone going above and beyond to ensure that guests are happy and comfortable. From the delightful breakfast to the overall hospitality, everything was simply flawless. It’s the little touches, like the friendly staff remembering your preferences, that truly make this place stand out. By the time I was checking out, I felt genuinely sad to leave. The scenic views, the peaceful ambiance, and the wonderful people I met during my stay made it hard to say goodbye. But I know one thing for sure: I’ll definitely be coming back to Nagas Hotel Satyawati every time I’m in Goa! If the owner is reading this—thank you for creating such an amazing space. Your hotel is truly a hidden gem, and I wish more people discover the wonderful experience that awaits them here. Swapnil in Germany 🇩🇪 (Instagram: @swapnil_in_germany)
