Onastay at Candolim Manolita — Hotel in Goa

We travelled to Goa for holiday and stayed in 1 BHK here from 28 Oct -31 Oct 2022. We were allocated room no BT5 on the 4th floor. It's a well-maintained building with ample amount of parking and 24/7 security. The pool looked very clean and was unoccupied most of the day. It's actually not 1 BHK as the kitchen is part of the hall but you do get a separate washroom outside and another one in the bedroom. Overall the apartment has the most basic things you will need to stay. However, there are some things to consider

We didn't find the caretaker Arun helpful. It was very difficult to communicate as he doesn't speak much.

The rooms are cleaned on alternate days but no one showed up to clean our room. In fact, I requested Arun one day prior to come in the morning. Also, on raising this concern I was told that I need to wait until 2 pm for the cleaners to come as they have other work to complete. I am sorry but you can't expect me to sit in the room on a holiday. No effort was made to apologize for the inconvenience.

Only 2 pillows and 2 blankets were provided. The blankets (not the comforter) looked like they have not been washed for months. Same for the bedsheet in the bedroom. 2 extra pillows were available but didn't have a cover on them.

I requested a bedsheet and pillow cover for the sofa bed in the hall. But again this was delayed and was only done when I reminded them again.

The A/C in the hall was making a lot of noise and has not been serviced in a while.

They charge you extra for early check-in subject to availability (1 BHK - 1000, 2BHK - 2000, 3 BHK - 3000 ) which I think is a good option but would be better to mention it in Airbnb terms rather than mentioning it on Whatsapp before arrival.

They provide an option to drop off luggage for early check-in. But do note that baggage will be kept near the stairs in open. So there is a risk involved.

The windows in the hall and bedroom don't have a grill. Please bear this in mind as children can open and fall. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had a child so were a bit worried about it.

The apartment (BT5) had an attic room which was unusual. Always a risk as someone can get into the apartment through it. See picture.

Lastly, note that the rooms are maintained by a third party On A Stay so you may miss the personal touch and attention you usually get from the owner...

"Not secured for ladies" My friends booked the apartment for their business work, On the first day, it was going good.

On the second day at late night someone knock the door at 1.30, there was someone who was continuosly knocking the door, there were all girls scared they checked through the small mirror (which we see on door) there was no one at all, Again after sometime someone knocked the door, and colleuge was just staying on the upper floor, he watched there was no one at all, but he found that someone did toilet on the door,

Also the car they booked was having the scratch showing up ther, which it was not when they cames from the market,

A very bad experience for the ladies, really bad to get know about this, still any of the staff did not took any action on the same to look into this and camera was also not visible to br shown,

If anything would have happened are you would have take the responsibility for this? Request you to please dig into this problem and look after...

Cozy place for a family. The place has all the amenities one needs. The one we I stayed at was a two bedroom apartment. It had a toilet and bathroom in each bedrooms and a guest toilet in the living room. The washing machine was located in the guest bathroom. The living room is very spacious with an open kitchen and a dining table present. The apartment has a lift service available. There is parking also provided. One can also ask for extra blankets. Also there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants located close-by to the apartment. Also there is a swimming pool in the premises. The parts which were not quite good was, the approach road is narrow. The furniture in the apartment had a lot of dust on it which triggered my allergies. Also the blankets provided were dusty and quite thin. The washing machine was tricky to operate. There was no hot or warm water available after sunset for bathing.
