My dining experience at Dana Pani Restaurant in Goa was absolutely delightful, leaving me thoroughly impressed with both the food and service offered.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff who provided us with attentive and friendly service throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and ensuring that all our dining preferences were catered to with a smile.
Now, onto the food itself â it was simply outstanding. Dana Pani excels in delivering authentic Goan cuisine with a modern twist. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, bursting with fresh flavors and showcasing the richness of Goan spices and ingredients. Whether it was the succulent seafood dishes or the flavorful vegetarian options, each plate was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that complemented the dining experience perfectly. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or as a couple, Dana Pani offers a comfortable setting where you can enjoy a memorable meal.
In conclusion, Dana Pani Restaurant in Goa surpassed my expectations in every aspect â from the warm hospitality to the exquisite food. One of the worst dining experiences weâve had in the entire Candolim area. This restaurant lacks even basic ambience no air conditioning, cramped setup, and an overall unhygienic feel. The staff appeared completely untrained and unsure about their own menu, which was a huge red flag.
The food was extremely disappointing bland, lacking in quantity, and grossly overpriced for what was served. They charge rates comparable to a 4-star hotel restaurant, but deliver substandard quality that doesnât even meet street food expectations.
We were initially drawn in by the âPure Vegâ banner, but it turned out to be a major mistake. Even the owner seemed indifferent to customer feedback.
We eventually moved to Kailash Parbat and Banana Leaf both of which were miles ahead in terms of food quality, ambience, and staff professionalism, at nearly the same price.
Don't be misled by the glowing Google reviews itâs nothing like whatâs described online. I strongly suggest avoiding this place if you value your money, time,...
Read moreWent there for breakfast and was super annoyed. Although the staff told us it'll take 15 mins for a plate of parathas, it took them almost 50 mins. Ridiculous to think a plate of parathas will take 50 mins. And we asked if anything can be served sooner and the waiter said he can give poha. The poha took 40 mins to be delivered. Even watermelon juice which literally takes 2 mins to make took them 15 mins. The food was ok.
The staff was very arrogant. Almost like they're doing us a favour. As the ranks of the staff goes low from manager/cashier to server, their arrogance went up. We told the cashier that it had taken more than 30 mins since order was placed he started becoming very defensive in a ln argumentative manner. In a service industry in Goa, their attitude is extremely arrogant. Typical north indian arrogance.
Go at your own risk if you want to spend more than 30 mins waiting for simple dishes. And if you want to bear with arrogant staff. I doubt any of the 4+ rating reviews are even genuine. No way can anyone give a good rating to this place. Maybe...
