OYO 44568 JJ's Guest House — Hotel in Goa

Arrived early hours of the morning to have to wake up a groggy kid who was sleeping on one of the restaurant tables. I had made previous communication with the owner and had been advised we had a nice room - number 5. The young man who checked us in took us to room 4. Bed throws were crusty and stained. Sink was in the bedroom and was filthy with dirt all around the inside. In the bathroom dust and rubbish had been swept into the corner and left there. ||This is our 14th year coming to candolim. We are not fussy guests and we always stay in basic accommodation. However this room was disgusting. Went to talk to the young man about it but he had gone back to sleep on the table so we went down to sunset Beach and checked in there instead. ||First time in 14 years we have had to move properties and I'm seeking advise from booking.com on how to get...

Location wise : 1.5km to Candolim beach, 3km to Calagunte beach, 6 km to Baga beach, 4km to Aguada fort and Dolphin point 4km to petrol pump

Room : Each room consists of 1 cot. So 2 people per room. Comfortable bed. Air-conditioned (AC) Geyser available Balcony available Fridge (Not working) Locker ( separate charges) TV No wifi No hot water for drinking Secure lock is there, but extra key is available with them.

Service Wise: They will not provide you drinking water, you have to request them. No white bulbs in the room, only yellow ones which makes you feel confused at times. No cable subscription in some rooms. Bike available at Rs300 because you are staying here, outside it is Rs350. Car rent not available here. Rooms will get cleaned once or twice in three days. Overall 7/10 for service.

Cost: 15k for 4 rooms...

After travelling from UK we arrived at 4 am in the morning only to be told from a young kid we wasn't booked in after several phone calls we were put in a room down the side lane this looked like a cell the bed was like concrete we were booked in for 7 nights unfortunately I was hospitalised with pneumonia after 4 days my husband spent 2 more nights there then stayed at the hospital with me we asked if we could leave our luggage at freinds bar which is part off jjs no problems we were told no problems at all not till my husband went to the bar and was asked to pay £80 for keeping our luggage because my husband was concerned about me he paid talk about being ripped off .
