Outstanding Experience
Me and my wife spent almost a month at Primavera and were super impressed with their hospitality. Anthony and his wife Beverly run this place and are super warm and wonderful people. They took care of our requirements and were very accommodating with any special requests. It was my wife’s birthday and the family helped in arranging the decorations for the room; they even surprised her with a handmade card (made by Anthony’s son) and a gift - this was a super sweet gesture. Anthony made arrangements for us to rest and shower at 6 am in the morning before our check-in, as our flight landed early morning. Anthony and his family stay in the same compound, that has two separate building structures; one where the family resides and another where the rooms are located. However, there was absolutely no issues of privacy and our stay was peaceful and relaxed. Rooms: During our stay, we happened to stay in 3 different rooms and all the rooms had their own charm and were maintained beautifully. Rooms were airy with ample sunlight coming in from the big glass balcony doors. Strong split ACs, ample lighting, a full length mirror, almirah, small table+chairs (used for dining, working, etc.) Ample electric points across the room. Washrooms: This deserves a SPECIAL MENTION. The washrooms were SPARKING CLEAN, with running hot water and overhead rain showers. The owners maintain the property very thoughtfully, which was evident from the fact that each washroom had all the necessary cleaning tools in place for you to use. Housekeeping: Towels, Bedding/Linens and even the floors are cleaned with disinfectants. Room Cleaning happens everyday; linens change every 3 days. During the cleaning, the entire place literally smells of Dettol. WIFI: This place has an amazing WIFI connection (mostly 40 MBPS during the day) even for video calls, which is also connected to the power backup. Also, they have a secondary broadband connection, in case one goes down. The multiple routers are distributed across the property and all rooms get a strong signal. If you’re looking for a place where you can work out of, just go for it without a doubt. Food Arrangements: They offer a wholesome home-cooked breakfast at a small charge - Poha/Upma/Eggs (any one) + Tea or Coffee + small fruit bowl. Every room has a small kitchenette with a Fridge, Pop-up toaster, Water Kettle, Plates, Cutlery, Cups/Mugs, Knife and Tea-Sugar-Coffee pouches. The condition of appliances were top notch and not the usual make-shift types you normally find in guest houses/home stays. They DO NOT provide a Stove or an Induction plate in the kitchenette, which is the only challenge we faced during our long stay. There is provision of a common microwave located in the common pantry of the property, in case you want to heat up any left overs. Food Deliveries: Swiggy and Zomato are working on full scale in this part of Goa. Most of the delivery guys knew the location of this property and ordering was a breeze. Attached Balconies: Rooms have balconies of decent size with a ceiling fan, two lounge chairs and a small table. This was my favourite place to sit and work comfortably. There are stands to dry your clothes in every balcony, making it super convenient, after a beach day. Parking: There is parking for 5-7 scooters/bikes inside the gated compound of the property; however, cars cannot be parked inside and will have to be parked outside on the road. The immediate approach road of the property is narrow and good enough only for small cars; you can park a car or two here but only after a few reverse gears, driven by an expert driver. Bigger cars & SUVs will have to be parked at common streets located around 500 meters from the property. Location: Located just behind the Candolim Beach Road, with 5 mins walk to Candolim Beach, “Newtons” Supermarket, Bank Branches with ATM. This is a residential area and is peaceful, no loud music is heard from the shacks at the beach. Ample options of different type of eateries located within 5...
Read moreWe stayed here as a couple in Nov 2020. It's the best place to stay in Candolim. 5 mins away from the Candolim beach and located in a serene green surrounding, this property is the best one can ask for. We loved our stay here and would love to return again. The attention given to details is just mind blowing. The rooms are very spacious. Almost the size of 1 BHK flats in Mumbai! The complimentary breakfast was healthy, homemade and always on time. Anthony was always available for a chat or address any queries that we had. The rooms have 2 spacious balconies. The chairs in the room and balcony are so comfortable. The room even has a fridge and kitchenette with all the necessary items and cutlery that you might require. The room is like a flat with all the necessary amenities one can think of for a comfortable stay. We woke up to the sounds of birds chirping in the morning. Sunlight came in through the full size sliding windows. They have a full size mirror as well in the room. They have really put in lot of thought while building this place. Hats off to the detailing. Anthony and his family even have a cute and playful labrador. The wifi was working properly. Location is great, just 5 mins away from the beach. They even have a power backup, and a well in the compound. Scooty is available on rent. Room cleaning happened daily. Complimentary bottled water and tea/coffee also available daily. Proper sanitization is being done during Covid times. The bathroom and room is impeccably clean and spacious. You can even order food from a restaurant nearby which serve delicious food at very reasonable rates. If you are in Candolim, just don't go anywhere else. Stay at Primavera. It's located at a very prime location. So many restaurants and shopping market is just nearby. The personal touch is very rare these days, and they have made sure to prioritise it. Our trip was made super special just by staying here. We used to sit in the balcony in the morning while having our breakfast. Loved it totally. Wish to...
Read moreMy wife and I had a truly delightful stay at Primavera Holiday Homes. Nestled in a quiet residential area, the homestay offers a tranquil escape with zero noise pollution and plenty of greenery—we especially enjoyed their beautifully kept garden.
From the moment I first contacted Anthony and Beverly Soares through WhatsApp, they proved to be exemplary hosts, welcoming us with warmth and grace. Their pricing was more than fair, and all transactions were clear and straightforward—‘gentlemanly’ is the word that best describes it.
The hospitality we experienced felt as comforting as a family visit. Initially, we addressed Mr. Anthony as “Sir,” but by the end of our stay, he had become “Anthony Uncle”—a testament to how endearing and genuine he is.
Mr. Anthony was always just a call away, ready to assist with anything we needed. He helped us secure a two-wheeler rental at the best rate of the season, with the vehicle conveniently delivered right to the gate. He even arranged an auto-rickshaw when we needed one, and shared excellent recommendations for trying authentic Goan cuisine. Beyond that, his advice on avoiding tourist traps and handling local interactions was invaluable.
Our stay at Primavera allowed us to truly relax, with no worries about safety or noise. This peaceful retreat set the tone for our adventures around North Goa, making it easy to enjoy each destination. Having stayed in many big-brand hotels, I can say with conviction that Primavera was a step above. We couldn’t have asked for a more...
