Hotel GRG — Hotel in Gujarat

I booked this hotel for 3 nights as it was 3 star rated by Make My Trip with Breakfast included (Breakfast is 1 item from their Menu (toast butter jam, bread butter, omelette between bread, etc.) and a cup of tea or coffee)||The room wasn at all inviting||The water works weren't working||The TV wasn't working||The AC wasn't cooling the room at all||It seemed like no one had used that room||I asked the reception to sort things out as I just used the toilet and they turned on the water which was dirty||They changed the STB box फिर TV to work||The shower had dirty water (Brown colored) comming and no hot water.||Breakfast time I was told that's all they offered as it was a budget hotel||I asked to check out but was told I could not as I had booked the room for 3 nights||And I spent 5 hours in the reception to be checked out||The owner came and told me that it is a budget hotel and not a 3 star hotel as advertised by MakeMyTrip||The owner threatened that he is going to call the cops to throw me out of his premises (Which I told asked him to do)||The owner even turned the Fans off in the reception so that I would leave due to the heat.||Eventually I had to write a letter that I was checking out on my own accord before they would stamp that letter and sign it||||Now to deal with Make My Trip||Complained since day of checkout and they still don't want to accept false advertising||No one answers their phones it's all automated unless you want to make a booking and pay||I had to use that source to talk to their rep who was very helpful and also agreed that the hotel was a budget hotel and not a 3 star rated as advertised, and he couldn't help me so he said he will put me through to concerned department (automated telephone system) where no one answers the phone||Have complained to them and they did try to offer me 2 nights worth of vouchers (I never paid them in VOUCHERS) so I told them I want cash back as I had paid in cash||They have been saying that the concerned department will get in touch with me every time and the time frame of 24 hours and 48 hours||But their clocks di not have 24 hours or 48 hours still awaiting to hear from them after 2 weeks||Please avoid HOTEL GRG||Please avoid booking on MAKEMYTRIP||You...

This hotel has most non cooperative and rogue manager ramanbhai. He has no manners to talk. He doesnt understand problems of guests. I have very bad experience and would never ever stay here again. Today i went to hotel at 8.30 am. I knew the check in time was 12 and i was early and room was not available. I preferred to sit in the reception area and after one hour i asked him if i could use toilet he said right now its wet and i would spoil the cleanliness🤔 He said room was being cleaned so i should wait for one hour. I asked if i can use room's bathroom while they clean it.. He almost scream and said what if he doesn't want to give room before 12 pm? I said i have to go to bathroom and you should make some adjustments on the ground of humanity. But he was furious and didn't allow me use bathroom. This is not acceptable at all.. I have been traveling to all over places in India but This was my first time in vadodara. I found this hotel online and tried to give it a shot(as I was tight on budget😅) though it's reviews were poor. As soon as I came to the property ambience was good. Check-inn was hassle free and the staff was co-operative. Housekeeper Jaysingh/ramsingh sorry I don't remember his name he was also very kind whenever I asked for anything he always delivered in time. If talking about professionalism all were upto the mark. I used to come post midnight sometimes at 2-3am but they never got annonyed by it. They also have sensor light in bathroom so it's a great thing. Even though it was a budget hotel staff never let me feel it like the one. They were always on point. Overall my 4 days stay was very pleasant and I'm willing to stay here whenever I'll be coming to vadodara.. Thanks team for your nice gesture...
