We have been at this cafe quite a few times now. It is definitely a good place to hangout with an amazing ambience. It has live music as well. The architect has put some unique ideas into designing this cafe, especially using the space very nicely. Seating capacity and outdoors are too pretty to describe. We tried the following food items and my recommendations are followed by...
Cheese garlic french fries - 5/5 Very tasty fries, it was my first time trying garlic fries and i wasn't disappointed.
Red Thai curry with rice - 4/5 I tried this dish three times and the only issue every other time the vegetable portion is reducing. May be due to limited availability of vegetables. The taste remained the same. I love this dish.
Ginger tea - 5/5 This came with 2 cookies. It cost us 100 rs but quantity was enough for 4 people.
Margarita pizza - 2/5. The crust was ready made and as per the discription in menu, basil leaves were missing. It did not like the taste. The base was burnt.
Maxican sizzler - 4/5 This was tasty as well with maxican seasoning.
KitKat shake - 5/5
All dishes were nice except pizza. The quantity was more than enough. Price range is little on higher side but reasonable as per our opinion. This is the kind of cafe suitable for office meeting, friends hangout and family gathering.
Value of money - 4/5 Ambience - 5/5 Staff behaviour -...
Read moreI recently attended a kitty party hosted by a friend at VARIETEA Restaurant and Café, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! We were provided with a separate room, which gave us the perfect private space to enjoy our gathering. We started off with a variety of beverages, including the Classic Mocktail, Passion Fruit Mojito, Elaichi Tea, and Irish Coffee. Each drink was refreshing and delicious, especially the Passion Fruit Mojito which was a standout with its vibrant flavors. For the main course, we indulged in the Oriental Sizzler, which was an absolute treat! The platter came with stir-fried veggies, rice, and cottage cheese chili, all paired with a flavorful assorted veg hot garlic sauce. It was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.We also tried the Baked Bruschetta and the Creamy Cottage Cheese, a signature dish from VARIETEA. The chunks of paneer dipped in a rich, creamy white sauce were simply irresistible – once you start, you just can’t stop eating!Overall, I had a fantastic experience at VARIETEA. The ambiance, food, and service were all top-notch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy great food and a cozy atmosphere.Only issue was No parking space.Happy...

We visited the cafe yesterday for Abhijit Ganguly's stand-up show. Besides the fact that they decided to use the most claustrophobic room in the cafe to seat 50 guests, let me tell you a bit about our experience. The place, while conveniently located, has poor entrance - expect wading through ankle high water at the entrance. If that's not bad enough, we were greeted with the aroma of kachua-chaap repellant (yes, the old-school style jalebi we've all grown up using, if you are an 80's / early 90's kid). Even before we could wonder why, boom, we saw it - the place was infested with mosquitoes.
During the 60mins act, there were at least 3 power cuts. Understand that these things happen in monsoon season. But the fact that they didn't have any back-up arrangement for it was surprising. Some of us ended up holding our phone flashes for pretty much the entire show to ensure there's some light in the room. Make of it what you will, but am never going to this...
