the experience of this restaurant is very bad i got it,
On second day of Diwali (New year of Hindus Community) we had ordered food parcel from here! Like amount was 560/- each parcel.
When we opened the parcel, we felt that we have been fooled. I will tell you all the things in detail.
1 These people are giving 20 rotis and 20 pudis. We love to see numbers in menu how much quantity gives this reastaurant.
But when we went to the house, we opened the parcel, then small size, absolutely, small, sized puri and roti in it. Like a Lay's chips..
It Really Makes Us fool by showing menu qty numbers.
2, These people use palm oil or Dalda ghee in food we feel that, how did we know Few vegetables sabji were left. When we kept it in the fridge, a layer of thick like Dalda ghee got frozen on top of it. This happens only when you use Dalda Ghee or Palm Oil?
3, We like only paneer sabji and gulab jamun. Yes, out of the whole food, only two things are good I feel...
4, There was no test in gujrati daal. was simple. Qty was half compar to rice quantity. Tell me how you will eat food by balancing.
Food should always be in the right quantity and not too much rice like 2 people and daal for one people how can they eat.
These stupid people not understand this thing only they run the business.
5, we got 4 qty kachoris in farsan, leave aside the matter of taste, the top layer of the kachoris was kachhi layer and it was filled with a lot of oil.
So these people never taste the food. that the thing matter these people not professional.
How can you give such food to someone?

Read moreIt was during my recent trip to Baroda when I asked my Driver to take me to a place that serves Gujrati or Kathiyawadi Thali. Immediately he recommended Sasu Maa & my first time experience here was good. Firstly, the place is conveniently located on ground floor; easy to navigate through Google Maps; owner himself pays attention that you get a table as soon as he can. Service is prompt & attentive.
Coming to the food, I think they serve a pre set Thali menu and no à la carte. As soon as I sat in, I was served farsan (snacks like fried Dhokla & gujiya shape kachori); a chat Item, 3 variants of Chutneys; 4 different sabzi, Kadhi, Wheat & Bajra Roti; Sweets & Butter Milk. Most items were decent in taste. I really liked their broad beans curry, Cheeko & Aamras that tastes excellent. Kadi was below average & the preparation was neither Gujrati nor Rajasthani on taste: I think I have had much better Kadi at other places. Rice was served upon asking & the sever immediately asked if I’d like to pair it with some Dal that was sour & sweet and suited the summer pallet. Owner insists for repeat serving which I think is not possible for the light eaters because of too much of variety.
In terms of cost, I personally feel Rs. 350 plus taxes per head is not on higher end if you are a family of 4 or 5 & go for repeat dining. However, I didn’t mind paying this amount considering the different variants of Gujrati food I...
Read moreVisited this place for lunch. It serves unlimited thali at a decent price.. They also have a kids thali ... It was almost closing time , 3:30pm, so doubted if they would accomodate us. But was surprised to see half of the restaurant still occupied..
Most of the visitors seemed to be tourists, thus explaining the popularity of the place...
Ambience: Small place enough to not make it too crowdy.. As you enter, they boast about their popularity with pics of many celebrities who have visited them.. Place was lovely with the staff moving around serving customers...
Service: Quick service with the waiters turning up immediately , as soon as something in the plate is over...Their manager had a special attention to each table, also urging customers to have some more, which is very welcoming..
Hygiene: Well scored here. Each waited had a mask ON with 'Sasumaa' printed on it.. Hygiene maintained in a stylish way !!
Food: They had a good spread of dishes. Surely everyone can thus enjoy... There types of chapatis, 3 farsan, 2dal, salad, papad, 4 sabji and rice...
