The Lime Tree — Restaurant in Gujarat

City’s first Sky Grill which should shut down before they ruin the food experiences of the people of Ahmedabad. This is a classic case of a place that is wrongly overhyped and all the fancy build up comes crashing down when you visit. Uchi dukaan feeka pakwan literally as it is located on the Top Floor of St Lord’s Inn and all it has is amazing ambiance and great view everything ends right there. The service is pathetic the staff is not trained at all you reach out to them 15 times for them to revert to you and even when they do come to you they only listen to half of what you are conveying. The place is not that huge and there are enough members of staff to coordinate properly but it seems like they simply run away when you call out to them. Food is terrible nothing is any good and everything is priced so high in terms of quality and quantity just does not do justice to the pricing.

What I drank & ate:

1. Litchi Drink - This was the only decent item we had all night.
2. Mocktail that was recommended by the Staff turned out to be pathetic they had only added Soda and some syrup and this costs you ₹200+
3. Farmhouse Pizza - The crust was burnt you can see that in my photos, and there was no flavour to the Pizza as they had simply added alot of cheese and some basic veggies just for the sake of adding vegetables. It costs you ₹400 for a thin crust half burst Pizza now you decide if you wish to eat it.
4. Margherita - Again the base was burnt, such a shame!
5. Oriental Sizzler - Manchurian was extremely salty, Hakka Noodles were under cooked and Fried Rice was bland and over cooked. Another terrible item priced at ₹450.
6. Peri Peri Paneer - An edible Starter but unfortunately this was served after we finished eating the Main course, so basically Starters for Dessert! slow claps for the Staff & Management coordination.
7. Sesame Cheese Kebab - It was an absolute disaster very salty and deep fried for some reason did not taste anything like a Kebab. Priced somewhere at ₹250-₹270
8. Mexican Hot Pot - We were served Fried Rice with Manchurian and Nachos decorated on top there are photos to prove my claim right.

Honestly do not keep items your Chef cannot prepare on the Menu stop ruining it for people. We kept calling the staff to point out the issue but nobody bothered to come to the table. There was no Cutlery on the Table and nobody to even get it for us. In short, the entire night was spent yelling and calling out to the Staff who did not give a damn despite the place being half full.

Well if you have a lot of money to waste then you should surely visit this place if not just do not bother to go there. It is a terrible excuse of a place if you complain about something to the Management nobody makes any improvements they simply nod and apologise as if that would solve the pathetic experience that they are giving out to people.
