We went to this place as a group and asked for extra cup for tea. The guy at the order taking reception named Salman said that we cannot provide you extra cup. Fair. We said that we would pay for the cup as per the standard charges of tea post. He refused saying that we do not provide extra cups. Why was he being so rude and arrogant in his tone? If it is a standard protocol for the outlet to not provide extra cups, that is fine. But I have not come across other outlets or the same one before where they refused or said something like this. We asked to another employee of the outlet sometime later if we can get extra cup, he said that it will be charged as 3 rupees. He confirmed that one can get extra cups by paying the required amount. Why did the receptionist, Salman, earlier said that we do not give cups and why was he outrightly rude as he was serving food for free?
When we looked at the bill that the receptionist had given us earlier, there was amount added to the bill for three extra cups? Why?
He ruined our entire experience as a group and this has provided us with a very negative impression...

The place is visible easily and on the main road. It's just opposite Fozzie's Pizzalio. Yesterday, my friends and I visited the place. One of my friends met me after a long time as he's going abroad.
Firstly talking about the entrance and covid protocols. It was really disgusting as the smoke and smell from cigarettes was outrageous. We went out immediately out of there however decided to go back upstairs as there was no other place to sit and debate for a while. Additionally, there were no covid measurements done at this place. The place was too crowded.
We ordered one traditional tea, one with ginger and mint and one hot coffee. However the taste was not up to the mark and I think it's over hyped. There are other snacks like sandwiches and puffs too. The taste of snacks is delicious rather than beverages I'd say.
Also, there were musicians and artists playing some songs. That really was a positive for us and lightened our mood. It's a quick good place for having a snack or...

I mostly visited Tea Post Cafe and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered two hot teas, one hot coffee, and a puff. However, just 27 minutes after placing my order, a waiter came to our table and informed us that if we weren't going to place another order, we had to leave because we "can't sit here for a long time."
I felt seriously insulted. Cafes are usually places where you can enjoy a tea or coffee with friends, have discussions, and relax, but clearly, that was not the case here.
This isn't the first time either. On a previous visit, I came inside the cafe because of the rain, and the same waiter approached me asking about my order. I informed him that I had already placed it, but he still kept insisting on the details until I showed him my online order confirmation.
Overall, these interactions have left me with a very bad impression of this place. I’ve never experienced such poor service at any other cafe. I won’t be coming back...
