Hotel Rock Sea Shimla ( Phone no 9816644882) — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

Worst hotel I have ever visited. Starting with the receptionist, the kid had no idea how to run a business. I was with a medical emergency and needed to get a checkup so by my bad luck I came to this hotel. I came to mall road to find a decent stay and i was approached by a guy from this hotel who promised me a decent room @1K . It was 9 PM, i was having pain from kidney stones and was alone so i went with him. then the receptionist argued that the room will cost 1.2k .. the condition of the room was (questionable sheets, mattress, not even a soap in bathroom). Well I was in too much pain to argue so I took it in 1.1k . In the morning I went to the hospital at 7AM for my checkups and it took more time then it should. At 11:30AM I called the hotel to ask if I can get a 2 3 hrs extension as I do not have any idea how much time the doctors will take. The kid at the reception said 400 till 2PM, after that you will have to pay the full price. I explained him my situation that please try and understand, I am at the hospital, low on cash. Take 400 but atleast give extention till 4 PM. He refused. I got so furious that I had to leave my tests and took a cab to the hotel and checked out before 12PM. Then I went back to the hospital to get the tests done.

I understand that you guys need to do business and make a profit but atleast have little empathy with your customers. It was a Thursday!!!! There was no rush and yet you guys harassed me so much mentally. I will never even look at this hotel and would suggest all my friends visiting shimla to...

Sorry for the delayed review. ||||The hotel is an average one, specially suited for budget travellers, at an excellent location, just two minutes level walk from the upper side of the Lift. Easy walk to reach The Mall. The hotel is situated just in front of Hotel Prashant. We initially planned to stay at Prashant which seems to me a better one; but as we did not get room there, Mr. Bobby, the owner of the property, arranged our stay at Rock Sea.||||Rooms are a bit small with just average bathroom. However, the valley view from the window of the room and balcony just outside the room was awesome. The food was not upto the mark.
