Entrance is through Dadu's. There was no proper signs mentioning same so we have taken the other entrance. It was not at all good welcome as no one attended us. We have searched table ourselves and then called the waiter. Asked the waited for chat items for which he mentioned unavailability. Ambience is ok. Tables and chairs were not comfortable. Food: We have asked him to suggest a crispy starter. Reply was crispy corn. I had the worst experience. 0/5. Some corn are not well coated, some are very hard. No taste (no salt or masala). Next was Paneer tikka, paneer is very soft and good (4/5)- only item which we liked (Couldn’t take picture as I was busy finishing the best part of meal 😅) . For the main course, we have ordered Monk meat biryani (Soya chunk pulao). Some of the soya chunks are not boiled properly. Masala wasn't able to pull off the taste. None of the items are spicy or have tasty masala. Service: Not proper attention. Waiter sticks to a table and doesn't respond if he is not assigned to your table. Washrooms are not clean.
This is not my first bad experience here. The only reason I come here is it is one of the well known veg restaurants and when I wanted to be vegetarian...
Read moreI am surprised this place has a low rating. We'd been there yesterday evening for a early dinner and we liked all the items we had. Wait staff were a little un-enthusiastic, but the service wasn't all that bad. Its also strange that a chaat serving place was almost empty at 7PM.
Anyway - coming to the food, we were in mood for some chaat items. We were super impressed with the elaborate menu. There are a lot of interesting items. While we stuck mostly to chaat items, we loved the choice and are planning to go back to try other items.
We ordered 3 Lentil Shorba: Light soup, the way we like it. Tasted great. (5/5) Agra Dalia with liquid cheese: Even though we couldn't taste much of cheese, the item tasted great (5/5) Coin Kulcha N Bread Bushetta: This one too is good (5/5) Quinoa Jhal Moori: Tasted ok, nothing much to write, just the usual...
Read moreI have been going to Masala Republic for close to 7-8 years now, starting from their Jubilee hills outlet to Gachibowli now. The food is amazing, ambience is not fine dine but family friendly and the pricing is decent. But there is one thing I'd like to say, they serve the best chole-bhature in Telangana. No other joint can beat the north Indian taste Dadu's offer. Their sweets etc. are also great, one of the best in business. Editing my review after going there so many times, wanted to mention their amazingly courteous service...their staff is always smiling, always happy to serve, and quick with their service. I often ask for suggestions to eat depending on my mood and its always on point. This is a piece of Delhi out of Delhi, if you are cravings for some North Indian vegetarian food, do give them a try and you will not be...
