We went for Cascade lunch buffet on one Sunday recently. The cost was surprisingly Rs 3600 inclusive all taxes. The male staff was welcoming and Positives:
Negatives/Improvements needed:
Overall, from a 5 star, I experienced limited gourmet dishes with 2 star ambience and we spent one hour.
PS: For the similar price (around USD 40 incl taxes), I tried Aria lunch buffet in Las Vegas which had close 2000 dishes (all you can eat Indian, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, American counters, etc you name it they had it) with large collection of meat(crabs, prawns, oysters, goat/lamb, chicken), rice, deserts, drinks, juices. We took about 2.5 hours to taste almost the...
Read moreWe had high hopes for the Radisson buffet, expecting at least a decent experience from a well-known name. What we got instead was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. The entire experience was abysmal from start to finish.
First, the selection was shockingly limited. For something labeled a buffet, the spread was embarrassingly sparse. We found ourselves circling the counters, hoping more dishes would be added, only to be met with the same tired, uninspired options. It felt like leftovers from a school cafeteria, not a meal worthy of a respected hotel.
But even worse than the quantity was the quality—if you can even call it that. The food was bland, stale, and absolutely revolting. Every bite was a new disappointment. The Kachoris were so cold. The curries were watery and flavourless, the breads were dry and rubbery, and the desserts were laughably bad—more like sugary goop than anything appetising. Honestly, I’ve had better food at roadside stalls.
To top it off, the ambiance was dull, the service was indifferent, and everything just reeked of negligence. We went there to celebrate a special occasion—our anniversary—and it ended up being a complete disaster. Instead of a memorable evening, we left with a bitter taste in our mouths and a ruined celebration.
Worst food ever. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had.
Do NOT go to this place. Save your money, your appetite, and your sanity. Radisson should be ashamed to serve food like this...
Read moreWe decided to go here to avail the ongoing flat 50% off carnival offer on Zomato. We tried their buffet, and it couldn’t have been more worth it.
We started with the cream of chicken soup, which is really good. There were about 8-10 starters, including veg and non-veg. It’s important to mention that none of these were the generic ones which we get everywhere, like crispy corn and tikkas. They have variety and also innovation. If you are not satisfied with these, then they also have some good salads and a live counter serving anda pav, paneer tikka, etc.
Coming to the main course, you’ll get biryani, pastas, noodles, au gratin, two or three fish dishes, mutton, chicken, bok choy, Andhra dishes, and I am sure I am missing some more. Last but not least, desserts were something that won our hearts. We tried all, including ragi jalebi, rabdi, brownies, cakes, macaroons, gulab jamun, and halwa. The puddings and the blueberry cake were insanely good ….. perfection on the plate! I can go back just for these!
The service was good, and the best part was that there was peace, unlike all the other buffet restaurants which are so crowded.
If I have to nitpick, then I would say that the starters were a bit cold, given that they were not kept in heated pots. Other than that, our experience was spot on! Highly recommended, especially when the carnival discount...
