Extremely bad hotel for organising any event. The management is horrible. There is absolutely no coordination between the departments. They won't give you a proper contract and they go back on whatever they have committed. The manager named Anita was an extremely horrible manager. She committed for organising two events and booking rooms for the event. She made us pay the entire sum before the event in the name of hotel policy and after the payment was done she didn't bother to pick up the calls. She was extremely rude to all our guests and had no decency to even check if the events were getting managed or not. She is a horrible manager who deserves to be fired for ruining the entire event. After the money was paid she literally went past us without bothering to care or listen to is about the delays that were being made. She committed to is on providing rooms for the event. The rooms shown to us were good but when the guests came the most 3rd class rooms that were there in the hotel which had dampness, no airconditioning and no view were provided to our guests. We had to file an FIR against Anita for breech of terms to wake up the hotel to proceed with the event. The general manager was equally horrible and was trying to protect Anita. When we demamded to know why delays are getting made he answered 'I have to attend my(other) guests' like we weren't his guests all because we had made 100% payment in advance. He came into action only after the FIR was filed and the hotel got a call from the DCP. Later Anita tried extremely stupid cheap tricks to creat miscommunication between the host and guests. Hi tea was attanged for the guests at 4.30pm. the guests were to receive it in their rooms. When tea didn't arrive till 6.30pm we again called the staff to send it. Anita called back saying "your guests are at the pool we can not catchold of each one of them and serve them with tea'. First of all when the guests were to be served at the rooms how was she bothered whether the guests were in the room or not and secondly is she an idiot who thinks that the guests are not supposed to use the pool? Finally the tea planned at 4.30 was served at 7.00pm which resulted in the delay of evening event. This woman is not at all a manager. she is better suited for a role in a saas bahu tv serial.
This hotel doesn't deserve to be 1star even. This hotel doesn't deserve to be paid in advance for anything. The experience was absolutely horrible. No coordination, full of glitches and delays. After my experience with the hotel i would suggest never to organise any event in this hotel to anyone...
Read moreReview for Royal Rampur Food Festival at The Fern, Tonk Road
It was indeed an honor and pleasure of inaugurating the Royal Rampur Food Festival at The Fern on Tonk Road, and I must say it was an exquisite culinary experience. As a food enthusiast, I have always been intrigued by the rich flavors and heritage of Indian cuisine, and this festival exceeded all my expectations.
Let's talk about the star of the show—the food! The menu showcased a wide range of authentic Rampuri dishes. Chef Harsh Prasad ji has truly captured the essence of Rampur's royal cuisine, and every dish was just a masterpiece.
Highlights of the evening were the Tar Gosht, Malai Biryani and Galawati Kebabs which simply melted in my mouth. The perfect blend of spices and the tender texture made them a delight to savor. The flavors were rich and aromatic.
The Adrak Ka Halwa, Shahi Tukda in particular, were a revelation with its delicate sweetness and soft texture. It was showcasing the expertise of the chef Harsh Prasad ji in capturing the true essence of Rampur's culinary heritage.
The service through the evening was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the cuisine they served.
Overall, the Royal Rampur Food Festival at The Fern, Tonk Road, was a memorable journey into the flavors and traditions of Rampur. I highly recommend this festival to anyone looking to explore the royal cuisine of Rampur and indulge in a truly regal dining experience. This festival is being celebrated from 15th to 25th June, 2023. Please visit and enjoy.

Read moreStayed for our short visit to Jaipur, had booked through a friend's travel agency, was not a personal selection. Conveniently located close to airport, any trip to city or sightseeing will take a minimum 30 minutes owing to traffic. Check-in was fairly smooth, room was neat and clean. Overall the facility seemed a bit old and very happy maintained but kept running with a good housekeeping staff. Starting with the floor tile, sink, toilet paper holder, most of the stuff were broken, even the urinal at public toilet were broke physically but still functional. Every service of housekeeping and restaurant was very good and courteous. Buffet breakfast and dinner spread was good and wide with few good options. Was surprised to see that the elevators didn't have access control. Overall their room control systems functioned like a relic, it kept failing randomly especial in terms of temperature control and access. Toiletries were below a three star or even OYO. Work desk and other compliments on the room were good. Front office staff could be more polite and not so tight lipped. Have heard that it is customary in Rajasthan, you will be offered water as soon a you enter a home on a visit, and had the same experience at Fern as well and it was a feel good experience as we were offered water when we came back in after the days trip. Given a choice, may opt for a better hotel. Also, they don't have 24 hr check in, which is basically a loot on most travellers. Most hotels does this, just wanted to mention it here to voice it out that, we as travellers don't appreciate...
