I booked the family room for my family stay in Dec 2023. I wanted a hotel near ghanta ghar area and so I booked this. And to my surprise, the location came out to be perfect. This is a budget homestay not a luxury hotel so set your expectations accordingly. Read full to know in details. On 24th & 25th Dec, this area was a happening area with lot of lighted/decorated rooftop cafe's. Blue Stay was one of them. My room was on 3rd floor and it was big and so spacious to even accommodate 5 adults easily. There were 2 queen size beds and also an additional single bed (not expected). Bathroom was big, clean and quite basic. We a family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed here comfortably. Just above my room, there is rooftop restaurant. Note that the restaurant is not being operated by Blue Stay. So whatever you eat upstairs or order in room, you need to pay bill by bill. There is no window in room to see fort but you just go upstairs, sit at the rooftop restaurant and get a great view of Mehrangarh fort. Food menu price is on higher side but food is quite satisfactory. Best part was live folk music in restaurant on 24th & 25th evenings free of cost. Now some negatives. There is no intercom phone in room, so you need to go upstairs to order food or water. Rs 20 Bisleri water sold in 40. No complementary water in room. Just toilettories and towels given which is okay. To reach reception, you need to call on mobile no. One minor problem which I faced is that there was no water in bathroom in mornings and when I called them, it took 30 min for water to come back in taps. Other thing is that restaurant opens at 12 noon. So for breakfast, you need to go to Namaste cafe just adjacent to this. Overall my stay was comfortable and its good value for money place to stay if you are a family of 3, 4 or 5. If you are a couple, you can try Namaste cafe to stay first as its restaurant operates since...

Read moreMy friend and I stayed at BlueStay in Jodhpur. At first, I was unsure because the highly rated hotels were expensive. Since we only wanted to stay for one day, we were looking for something affordable and close to places like Clock Tower or Mehrangarh fort.
The location of BlueStay is great. Most tourist spots are within walking distance, and it's surrounded by markets bustling with tourists and locals. There are plenty of shops nearby.
We arrived early in the morning and they let us check in early, which was convenient.
We stayed in a double room on the top floor. I have a knee injury, so climbing stairs was a bit difficult for me. The room was spacious, cozy, and had big windows with lots of natural light.
We didn't opt for breakfast since we were leaving early the next morning, but we had dinner there, which was tasty. They have a rooftop dining area where you can enjoy the view. It looked beautiful with all the lights, almost like Diwali festival.
If we visit Jodhpur again, we'd definitely stay here. Overall, it was a good experience. I'd rate it...
