De Malabar Kitchen — Restaurant in Kerala

Visited with family (4 members), during 1.30PM for lunch.

Had a Chicken Fried rice.. It costs Rs: 200 and the quantity is more but not recommended for someone who cannot have a full portion. Taste was average.

Chicken biriyani was good (kaima rise) but mutton biriyani was again average.

Had fish curry meals which was again tasted Ok (Average).

Parking facility is also less. Two big cars or 3 small cars and 4-5 bike can be parked.

Comfortable for people coming from Trivandrum Railway station or bus stand by walking.

Payment: Only Cash and UPI, No card payment

Overall I didn't feel good on the value...

Iam actually coming from ekm , used to visit restaurants all over kerala as a part of my work . We visited this hotel on 12/04/2025 around 1.00pm

Experience service - worst one I have ever experienced When asked about menu - he said the items which are available and was hesitant to give me u 3- pathetic way of behaviour when we decided to leave from hotel 4- idk the name of employee at billing - To the owner - am 100% sure that he will destroy 100% of your business ;

The Rumali Plate Shawarma here is absolutely delicious—a must-try! However, the Plain Biryani was disappointing. The addition of ghee and nuts in plain rice didn’t work well, making it taste below average. The dish needs improvement to match the quality of their shawarma.

On a positive note, the staff and hotel management are exceptionally kind and welcoming. Their warm service truly enhances the dining experience.
