Paddy N Canal Homestay — Hotel in Kerala

Staying at Patty N Canal Home Stay was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had it felt like a real home away from home. The family is so warm, welcoming, and peaceful that you immediately feel comfortable the moment you arrive. We even ended up extending our stay because we didn’t want to leave!

The location is excellent, and they’ve even created a super helpful website to guide you around the area we discovered some great spots from it (Bayroute restaurant was one of our favorites!). The homestay itself is beautiful, with a rooftop, balcony, and a lovely garden. The brothers and their mom run the place with so much care, and little touches like their delicious ginger chai (always happy to make you one!) or a special snack brought to your room, or having an aloe vera plant ready after a day in the sun, made it extra special.

We chose to have both breakfast and dinner here, and it was 100% worth it the food was fresh, filling, and absolutely delicious. The hospitality was well above anything I’ve experienced elsewhere.

We also booked a boat tour through them, led by Robin, and it was such a highlight. It didn’t feel like a standard tour more like hanging out with friends and exploring together. Special thanks to Rony for check-in, Rino for managing everything so smoothly, and the whole family for creating such a welcoming space.

One of my favourite accomplishments in India. The rooms are super clean, good AC and have a nice view. The host family is super friendly and pleasant. There is just such a positive vibe in this house, that made us feel so comfortable. There is a room with a dinning table, fridge , water for the guest. The rooftop is perfect to do yoga in the morning. The communication was super. When we arrived Rino sensed us a text with everything we need to know for ur Alleppey holiday, food recommendations, a expansion of the homestays location in Malayalam to help communicate with the taxi driver and lots more. The location is super. It is a quiet place but the downtown ,bus stand , food, cafes and everything we needed where in walking distance. We also did the boat trip with them. The driver Robin is a nice person. He could answer all of it questions and we saw big and the small canals. It was a nice trip. I can highly recommend this place and I hope we will come...

My stay at Paddy N Canal Homestay was probably my best experience while staying at different homestays and hotels around India. The property is family-owned, and I felt very welcome throughout the entire stay. The room was spacious, clean, and fresh, with great AC, a nice shower, and a comfortable bed. I was allowed to check in very early in the morning after an exhausting train ride, which helped me a lot.|They also offer a wide range of activities and meals at this place, I took a 4 hours canoe ride in the backwaters and it was an amazing, both relaxing and interesting experience. It is very easy to book any of these, as they have a clear website you can use to get a good overview of all the possibilities and book conveniently. |I also got some chai several times during my short stay, the cherry on the top of the cake.|Can very much recommend...
