Lonely Planet manager had given warmth welcome. Hidden behind the first row of hotels and restaurants is this gem. Being a carnivore I was a little reluctant to go here but after the first lunch we had here I actually suggested we go back for lunch next day and wasn't disappointed again. We ate their specialties and weren't disappointed. Vegetarian food taste is away some. Nice atmosphere for dining there as located near a Lilly pond. We have eaten here quite often and in general the food is excellent quality. There are a few problems with the restaurant however. The service can be very slow when they are busy, so I recommend you get there early for lunch or dinner.
The conversion of the paddy fields into a pond has been a great idea, and with that, the atmosphere is rather special. Just that they somehow have failed to capitalize on their potential. Nonetheless, this remains a very good restaurant, and I can certainly recommend it's food. I particularly enjoyed...
Read moreWe recently visited this restaurant with high expectations of enjoying some delicious vegetarian food, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. The location was not ideal, tucked away at the back of the beach area, requiring us to navigate through a dark alley to get there.

We approached him three times, asking for the menu, and each time he told us to sit down and wait. Unfortunately, after a long and frustrating 20 minutes, we still hadn't received the menu, and the staff member seemed disinterested in attending to us.
In the end, we decided to leave, and to our surprise, two other families also followed suit. I would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant, especially if you're a North Indian seeking a satisfying dining experience. The lack of service and the overall experience left us deeply...

A fish pond, a stage, a big statue looks like it belong to a different place, maybe a different era. My first bite with paneer finger garlic revealed to me that kerala is not just seafood, good food is not bounded to anything. We visited the place twice. For dinner, since we were late, traditional dishes were over. The dosas were good, with exceptional chutney. Paneer Currys were different n very nice. For breakfast we had puttu, uttapam, dosas. Everything was good n recommended. Also, some people complained about prices being too high. In my opinion, every dish is priced at almost the same, so a dosa comes for a 100 bucks as...
