Hotel Imperio and Banquet — Hotel in Kolkata

I am an utterly disappointed guest:

My family, including a young child, booked a Premium room at Fab Hotel Imperio I Kolkata, expecting a comfortable stay based on the photos they displayed online. However, our reality was a complete nightmare.

Misleading Photos, Abysmal Reality:

The pictures showcased clean rooms, a far cry from the dingy, cramped reality we faced. The stench in the bathrooms was beyond words. It surpassed even the public railway restrooms, making the room impossible to occupy. The untidiness wasn't confined to the bathroom. The entire surroundings was filthy. The Only positive factor was the location. It is at center of the city. But inside a slum type area.

Due to the unbearable smell and overall deplorable conditions, we had no choice but to book a different hotel and leave. As if the experience wasn't bad enough, the hotel charged us for the entire three-day stay despite us being unable to stay due to their own shortcomings. This policy is predatory and unacceptable.

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs:

I vehemently urge anyone considering Fab Hotel Imperio I Kolkata to look elsewhere. It fails miserably on hygiene, comfort, and basic hospitality standards. Their false advertising and unfair cancellation policy only add to the frustration. Do not subject yourself to this potential nightmare – choose a hotel that values its guests and prioritizes...

I had some issue with this paticular stay.

Even after doing online pre checkin to avoid any hussle in the hotel. Still they did the same offline process asked for id card and merrage certificate also many questions like i am attending an interview. Room was not properly clean, seems like they just rearrange everything after a check out. Bed sheet and blanket cover was dirty and torn in few part, even pillow cover was not changed i found hair was sticking there. No bath and hand towel provided , after asking they provided one grey rough feel towel, which seems turn grey from white. No slippers in washrrom and no toiletries provided, no tissue.( i saw slippers are there in the lobby storage) i asked them to provide one but they denied. One handwash bottle is there which is barely have 5 to 8% liquid remaining inside.(luckily i am a frequent traveller and i have my products always with me) Room is too tiny barely i can walk inside the room. Only ceiling mount 3watt led warm light is there, which is not enough for a markup and getting ready. Overall room feels dark. Outside food is not allowed( i think management decided this because they know you cant sit and eat inside the room, they are tiny).

The most appalling service. Iam pretty sure the fab chain of hotels as they advertise 50+ cities 600+ locations pan India is great. But THIS PARTICULAR FAB HOTEL IMPERIO IN BALLYGUNGE IS DOWNRIGHT DISGUSTING. NO ROOM HYGIENE WASHROOM WAS SO STINKING BECAUSE IT WAS NOT CLEANED I NEARLY THREW UP 3 DIRTY BEDSHEET AND PILLOW COVER NO TOILETRIES I HAD TO ASK THEM TO USE ROOM FRESHENER AS THE ROOM SMELLED TERRIBLE ONE OF THE STAFF ASKED ME FOR TIP WHEN GETTING MY LUNCH AND WOULD NOT LEAVE MY DOOR UNTILL I GAVE HIM 50RS!
