Saffron is an exquisite fine dining restaurant which offers a chance to rediscover the taste of the royal mughals. Located at few minutes distance from the Quest Mall, this restaurant.here you can enjoy a lavish dinner date. There is no another Mughlai - Biryani - Kababs like this. If you wish to enjoy the above cuisine in peace and with class, Saffron is the place. The ambiance of this place is really amazing dim light royal decor gives a warm and cosy feeling.... The behaviour of the staffs were very good they were gentle, polite and humble... When we entered they welcomed us with a very good gesture which is very rarely seen in any kind of restaurant we were really overwhelmed by there behaviour.... So lets come to the foods which we tried... The foods quality and quantity according to the price is really awesome... They also maintain all the covid protocols...

The menu of the day was : -

STARTERS

tandoori chicken :- this is a king of all starters it was well marinated with the red tandoori masala and it was perfectly roasted in the tandoori oven the pieces were perfectly cooked with the smoky flavour of the charcoal it was juicy from inside and tender also..... There was other starters also like reshmi kebab, seek kebab etc and veg starters too.. all the starters was perfectly blended with spices and delicious....

MAIN COURSE

Butter Naan & Garlic Naan :- Its a Indian breads prepared in tandoor oven with fermented dough.... It was really delicious soft and perfectly cooked....

chicken chap:- It is a royal chicken preparation prepared in a rich gravy with cashew nut paste and blended with other spices the chicken was perfectly cooked in a gravy the flavours of spices were penetrated to the bones....it was finger liking tasty { must try}

chicken jhalfrezi :- Its a chicken preparation with onion masala along with tomato sauce , bell peppers, onion blended with Indian spices.... It was also very good and tasty as well as perfectly cooked...

#dal makhni :- Dal Makhani is one of the most popular lentil recipes from the North Indian Punjabi cuisine made with Whole Black Lentils... The dish gets its richness from the use of cream and butter... This preparation is bit difficult but this place have a best chef who can prepare it was one of my best dal makhni ever had.

Biryani (chicken/mutton) It is one of the most popular dish..Biryani is a mixed rice dish with its origins among the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. It is made with Indian spices, rice, and meat.. This place serves best biryani it town it was really damm delicious the meat pieces were perfectly marinated and cooked as well as it contains proper amount of moisture all together it was giving a perfect blast.... {Must try}

DESSERTS

#firni :- Its a royal dessert prepared with rice and condensed milk loded with lots of dry fruits.... It was really yummy when you will have a bite the flavours and the richness will give a kick to your taste bud {personally recommend}

Sahi tukra :- Shahi tukda is a mughlai dessert made with ghee fried bread, thickened sweetened milk, saffron and nuts. It is one of my favourite dessert and yet again this place didn't disappointed me it was really delicious..... Over all it was a awsome experience so what are you waiting for dear friends visit this place and enjoy the awsome experience of delicious foods with royal ambiance....

Was at these beautiful place few days back. There are many places that offer food at reasonable price but only a few places it maintaing the quality.this restaurant is one such example. India has always greeted everything open heartedly.thats why unity amongst diversity is seen here and that can also be seen in the offering of this wonderful restaurant the offers North Indian to mughlai foods along with Chinese dishes.they are also offering 50% discount on takeaway after 10:30pm. the ambiance of the restaurant truely speaking was really mesmerising. Trust me it's a hidden gem Inthe heart of the city for all the food lovers like me. This restaurant have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. At these present covid situations they are maintaining all the rules set by the government, they are also maintaining proper hygiene. Their services are so fast and their service staff are very polite and respectful.

Saffron Restaurant is situated near Quest Mall, just beside Bata Showroom. Saffron specialises in North Indian and Mughlai dishes. You can say it's a restaurant cum lounge and cafe. The interiors are quite spacious and the lounge area is partially open which creates a very cozy ambience. Coming to the food, I tried -

Starters ~ 🔸 Chicken Tikka Kebab 🔹 Chicken Tangdi 🔸 Resmi Kebab

The kebabs were the best part of the meal. The flavours were on point. The chicken was juicy and delicious. They serve it with green chutney and salad.

Mains ~ 🔹 Chicken Biryani 🔸 Mutton Biryani 🔹 Chicken Jalfrezi 🔸 Chicken Afgani

The biryani rice was fluffy nd aromatic. Not too spicy. The flavour was very subtle and light to palate. Any chicken side dish would go very nicely with the biryanis. We tried the chicken jalfrezi and afghani. The jalfrezi was a little spicy and gravy was rich! The afghani was fantastic too.

Desserts ~ Shahi Tukda

One of the best shahi tukdas I have had. Literally melts in your mouth. Totally worth it.

All in all, the food was top notch. Service and hospitality, amazing. I also saw they have 50% discount on takeaway after 10.30pm. So people living nearby can avail the offer! Would love to drop by...
