The LaLiT Great Eastern Kolkata — Hotel in Kolkata

I recently visited Hotel Lalit,Kolkata & I must say it was not at all what I expected.I have stayed in many five star hotels & this was my first time with Hotel Lalit & I would never suggest this hotel to anyone.Despite,being a brand they do not maintain the industry high level of service & behaviour.

After taking bath in the pool when we returned to our room strangely without any information our room was locked & access to the card was declined.We were wet & needed to take quick bath.Despite my repeated attempts to explain the situation,the staff & reception seemed disinterested- & made no efforts to assist us promptly.We were made to stand for more than half hour waiting for our rooms to get unlocked all in wet clothes.My friend also got fever because of the wet clothes for so long.

However,the most egregious incident happened when after standing for long time your staff Mr.Jhantu inspite of being sorry & humble,he was very rude & impolite.He was teaching us that it is our responsibility to go to reception several times & ask them why our room is still locked.I cannot imagine how can someone lack such basic etiquette in the business in hospitality..

The entire experience left a sour taste & I will never recommend Hotel Lalit Kolkata to anyone seeking a pleasant & stress free accomodation.It's disappointing to see such disregard for customer service & basic hospitality, & I sincerely hope that management takes steps to address the issue promptly.Until then ,I will urge potential guests to proceed with caution.

We consider the best brand to have comfortable & hassle free stay .That is why we choose Lalit but we were totally disappointed & exhausted by the way they treat...

I along with my family recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 5-star hotel in Kolkata, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the time of our departure, the staff's extreme politeness and hospitality truly stood out. Their warm welcome and genuine care made us feel like a valued guest throughout our stay.

Moreover, the hotel's services were top-notch. The attention to detail in every aspect of our experience, from the immaculate room to the delicious dining options, exceeded our expectations. The staff was always ready to assist with a smile, making sure every need was promptly met. Their dedication to providing a memorable stay was evident in every interaction.

Our stay at The Lalit was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at the hotel who made our experience excellent. They were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive to all our needs. Special thanks to Ms. Sainur for her outstanding assistance and patience. Although we don't recall all the names, the lady at the lobby who assisted us during check-in was extremely warm and patient. Despite our early arrival, she handled our needs gracefully and provided helpful directions.

The entire staff at the hotel deserves commendation for their exceptional hospitality and assistance. We highly recommend staying here.
