Central Guest House — Hotel in Kolkata

i am afroza parveen from bangladesh, a retired joint secretary of the govt. i visited central guest house from 8 to 15 june. i gave one online booking. they gave me the rate 1106 indian rupee for double seated room with ac gizer tv etc. but when i reached with my daughter and show them the booking paper they charged 1368 indian rupee. i was sick, i went there for treatment so i agree. because i had not that energy to scerch another guest house. they did nt supply water, soap, towel, air freasner and toilet paper. always they stopped gizer. i was sick, i told them again and again for a little hot water but they did not supply. i purchased one hot water flask and buy water from teaboys. they did not supply even a flask of water. they stopped ac frequently. their remote of tv did not work. there was always problem of water. flash did not , no supply of water in basin tap. they did not clean room and not receive phone . two office manager are bad specially that one who is without glass. he is a recist , he said ike this, bangladesh, bangladesh, this is not bangladesh. this is india. so talk less. he creticised my daughters dress. how dare he is! all boys of that hotel are bad. thing is this, that is a commercial area. heart of the city, all offices are there. there is no other hotels or guest houses. so they do monopoly business. they dont care about customers. when i depart from the guest house they claim 1568. and i was bound to give that. because that was my flight time. i went kolkata several times. i always stay in the new market area. for the first time i went to central guest house . i have a humble request to the govt of india, plese close this guest house, and save the foreigners from...

Nonsense hotel,the room in of oldest 90s room no renovation The room seems like drainage The ac is not working properly The fan is a old model fan makes so much sound The staff are not forcefully takes tips The women is not a good person Price is too high of other state people Mainly the water comes from tap is contaminated water The room floors are broken The windows doesn't open The bathroom stinks like drainage And starts vibrating after 30mins The staffs given worst kind of food and takes Higher price The staffs and the owner both are nonsense people They forcefully takes tips of 100 rupees The celling of the room is fully colour faded Water comes out from bathroom Very very tiny rooms and conjusted room They charge double for other state people No at all good for lower or labour class people also I checked-in in at night they charged me double then usual The above problems are genuine if someone doesn't believe u can go and check Plzz plzz plzz it's my kind and humble request not to stay in that hotel worst hotel experience in my life time Plzzz plzz plZZ DON'T STAY...

Not a bad place per se, but the employees there, namely the receptionists, are very, very unhelpful! We tried to get a better nightly rate, since we actually saw a much better deal online, at their very hotel, but they didn’t want to work with us on getting that deal on a cash basis. They kept saying we needed to book online and give them the booking number, but we couldn’t do that (which I explained them) because we didn’t have an Indian based credit card! Now, that’s not what’s upsetting in any case, what is is the fact that these individuals would not do anything in their power to try and help us. We tried appealing to reason, customer service etiquette, Good Samaritan customs, et cetera, all to no avail!
