It was a nightmare!
Took my cousins for SBI exam which was held at Madurai, we booked a room in a service apartment the first day, we had to extend the stay since one of us felt sick, so we were suggested KEERTHI COTTAGE which is one of NEW KEERTHI HOTEL's group
Staying at KEERTHI cottages was hell, so they transfered us to this New KEERTHI hotel, It is located nearby Chennai silks and is located close to Meenakshi Amman Temple
They provide us with a Double room suite, The room was okay but the AC was leaking and making terrible noise and for the first time I saw AC spewing out Ice! Yes, early morning 4 o clock there was a crackling sound and we woke up in shock to find ice cubes falling out of AC
There is a man whom they identified as GM, am sure he is an imbecile who doesn't know how to treat his employees he was spewing venom on one of his staff using expletives, he never cared he had customers before him, this so called GM must be certainly a Moron of a kind.
The rooms were neat and the bathroom was clean as well, remember you do not have attached bathroom since it is a DOUBLE ROOM SUITE it has a common bathroom
The windows didn't close properly and it was impossible to close the windows from the room.
I would certainly skip their group of hotels at any cost, I would prefer staying at the roadside than take their cottage or this New KEERTHI Hotel.

These temples except for Murugar temple it is opened from 7 to 12.30 PM and 4. to 8 30 PM.||We hired a Indigo whose contact was given by my family friend, who is trust worthy, knew the routes very well and manages time well all the more safe and economical. Could contact Perumal 9842178102. People from Chennai could see all these temples and return back by train on the same day. ||Currently Tirukostiyur two temples are open others they had covered as renovation work is on. However the place Ramanujar openly spoke about the thiru manthram is...
Read moreThis was the only below average hotel experience during my 20 days Solo Motorcycle ride to Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
The room allotted to me was poorly maintained, dirty and uncomfortable.
There were no curtains installed, the pillow was dirty and the blanket was smelling badly. The fan regulator was not working and was stuck at 5th speed level and I could not change the fan speed! The phone didn't work either.
When I complained to the reception, I was plainly told "when you checked in, no other rooms were available so we gave you a poorly maintained room".
As I was staying for just 1 night and had to spend most of my time outdoor, I didn't bother much and somehow endured this bad experience.
The only good part about this property was the location. Lots of fabulous restaurants and small eateries were close by. Plus The Meenakshi Temple was just few kms away.
Please stay away from this hotel and choose some...
