Aquilla — Hotel in Maharashtra

One star as you cannot give less than that.Well I definitely learned that ambiance and amenities do not decide the quality of any property. And let the pictures not fool you either, until you speak to the owner(obviously once you reach the destination). What any guest expects is a peaceful experience at the property and not an insulting, arrogant, arguing and rude behavior. And all this is coming from the the owner himself..Definitely not visiting again.

Adding post receiving Feedback on another review. I have to write a long explanation on this one as we have been called unprofessional and liars on another review.

We reached the property at 10:30 and since had children with us requested your staff if we can sit in the lobby and have breakfast, to which they said "yes". If they would have said no, why anyone will force themselves and go in. Then Mr. Aditya Vora and myself had our conversation about him asking us to get out of the premise & i appreciating about this discipline and told the staff that we will come back @ 1130 once the villa 2 booked by us will be free and cleaned.

Then to our nightmare we started using the pool and enjoyed it so much that we lost track of time and forgot about the Cash payment which we were to to pay you in advance. Your staff called you @ 3;00 PM and told you about, we have not made the payment & then you started your argument, that you had told me earlier and also mentioned in the rule-book that you had messaged me , then i told you that we might not have that much cash & will give you in half an hour. I even requested if i can pay it through Google Pay & you said sir "Taxation ke liye only cash" For taxation purpose u will need only cash" (in this age of digital world). well you were insisting us so much that i had to say "Paise leke bhag nahi jaenge de denge. We checked out cash reserve with every one else & had 15000, which then were paid immediately. Instead of appreciating this, your called us liars in another review. instead of taking this feedback your arguments are bothering us by insisting us to give all this explanation.

On the service part, you call your staff professional, i had asked the caretaker to lay our bedding and 930 PM. He was not reachable. @ 1130 I then called Mr. Yusuf, he said he might be busy with guest in Villa 1 and will ask him to attend us. That person came @ 1130. Yes he helped us setup our barbecue and we thanked him well in the morning irrespective of the experience we had.

Well the entire episode might have hurt our false ego, but you definitely need address your TRUE EGO. Just because u have 500+ 5 star ratings doesn't mean you can behave the way you want with your other guests.

Well i will leave it at that. You have a business to run & You might explain back to me on this review about your stand and why u did, But you have no right to be arrogant & rude with your guest. It really spoils the experience. You could have been polite and avoided all this.

This is a Mind-blowing property for large Family Members. Can Accommodate 12 people at a time. Let me tell you all my experience in Aquilla Villa

Location:

The location of the villa is in the center point of Lonavala. Every point is near the villa. Right from the petrol pump, Food, Hill Station, etc.

Ambience:

This place is neat and clean. Spacious.

Covid Care:

The property is thoroughly sanitized before the Check-in. Right from the Left, Stair Cases, Door Handles, Chairs everything inside the Villa.

Structure of the Villa:

As its 3 BHK villa which is equipped with Fast and Safe-Lift. Senior citizens can easily move from one floor to other. The living room is Huge with all types of Amenities. TV, AC, Fridge, Electric Kettle, Induction, Dining Table, etc. In All 3 Bedrooms, they have AC, Balcony in two of bedrooms. All toilets have geyser, modern shower set and one of the bedroom have jacuzzi 😍 with Hot and Cold Water.

Food:

We've been there for 2 nights. on the 1st day we'd food from outside and in the night had dinner inside the Villa. I would like to say thanks to Mr. Avinash for serving us delicious food. Just a brief the food was complete package start from one dry vegetable, vegetable with gravy, Dal Rice, Raita, Papad, Pickle, Sweet, Roti, etc. He makes awesome biryani must try. We'd Amazing Sathe Misal with Tea/Coffee, In high Tea, he serves Mix Pakoda with Veg. Sandwich. At the night we all can do barbeque as well. When it comes to food then you must order it from Mr. Avinash

Things to do in Villa:

Half of the time we're in the Swimming Pool. Although the water was too cold we can't imagine senior citizens also went to the pool and had a great time. You can also play carrom, Table Tennis, Cricket, Badminton.

I would like to thank the owner of the villa, Mr. Aditya Vora, for Making and Maintaining the property Neat and Clear. Also, the Manager Mr. Yusuf who was all the time with us for our help and guidance for the visiting the nearby places. Lastly, all the Care Takers Mr. Sagar and all the members so courteous, humble, always ready for help, Arranging the Foodstuff cleaning the property all the time, washing the utensils without any reminder and we have never asked them to come and clean the rooms or utensils. They themselves are so responsible for their work. Hats off to all of them. God bless them.

Surely, I can say that My search of villas in Lonavala stops here. I would be very happy if I can get the villa on any of the dates. Of course that all depends on the availability on the selected dates.

Honestly Post the Pandemic , we all needed a break from our daily routines and were looking for a safe private villa to enjoy over the weekend Stress free . And boy were we in for a treat or what. Aquilla villa at Tungarli in Lonavala was the perfect space to be in to relax and rejuvenate. We went to Aquilla Villa on 12th and 13th of December 2020. We booked the villa at a reasonable rate after having a word with the warm host Mr. Aditya. He described the villa as a luxurious one and trust me when we visited the villa , it turned out to be true. The Pool was huge and enough for 12 people to plunge together. Water was cleaned and sanitized as per standards . We were 3 families with a few senior citizens with us , so we were worried as to how they would climp up the 3 floor villa , but to our delight , The villa had an Elevator too which was well maintained and fully operational throughout our stay. As soon as we entered , we engaged in a Game of Darts , having set the fun mood right away. We also enjoyed Table tennis and arrangements for carrom were made as well. The Manager at the Villa Mr. Yusuf was very helpful and courteous , always just a call away. We placed an order for food with Mr. Avinash , A local chef who caters to the villas nearby with some delicious food which he cooks with his wife and daughter. He gave us a value for money package which included Lunch , High tea , Dinner and next day breakfast for extremely reasonable rates. We also celebrated a birthday of my brother and decoration arrangements were made too by Yusuf and house staff. Special mention to domestic staff Siya Ram ji also for promptly cleaning the villa and kitchen on request.
