Mountview Resort — Hotel in Maharashtra

This is the worst hotel experience me and my family ever had. Some employees are pleasant and helpful, but the man behind the main counter, Ketan, is the worst manager I've ever met. His unusual mind and faulty assumptions ruined our stay. No one should hire this type of individual as a manager, in my opinion, or your hotel will fail.

I want owner or the management to call me for the complete scenario understanding and take appropriate action against this guy. Our booking was at the name of Khabir Khanna/Akshay Chopra. Adding this following the idiotic people's responses. The one who is discussing rules and regulations...have no idea what hospitality is. The employees did not work well together. The swimming pool was filthy, and the staff requested us to wait until their cleaner arrived... We waited for almost 2 hours in the morning before this unusually minded guy Ketan said no one comes to clean and you can start the water filter of the swimming pool....like seriously?? Is this a guest job? And started assuming that we're delaying the check-out time.

They stated that they would provide a breakfast buffet, however in the morning they stated that you have 2-3 selections from which to...

I came with my family & booked 3 beded room no 209 on 12.04.2025,but hotel Manager allot me double beded room no 208 & charged Rs.1064 for extra bed.This was Very disgusting,very bad experience.They must should have refund me extra bed charges. because of their behaviour i face mental harrasment. It's one of the worst properties that i have ever stayed on, Kindly dont go on rating and see for yourself first. 1- Sheets were dirty and stinky. 2- The washroom was so dirty, shower was not working.Worst experience, bedsheet were torn not changed after the last guest, limited snacks options to serve although menu was full of the dishes, no tea pouches although kettle was there in the room, no toiletries in bathroom, Dinner and breakfast was served as a buffet but the option was very limited. Food was cold and tasteless only spicy...the kitchen area was dirty and smelling...low quality oil smell was coming from the kitchen... Manager was very rude. No intention of creating any negativity for this place. Feedback is what we have observed as a family during our stay this week. Location - 5-7 mins as soon as u enter lonavala. Good if u have car but 20 mins walk to come to main road. No shops or any other market places nearby making it boring in the evening to pass time. Pool - clean but very small. If 2 couples jump together then it will look messy Breakfast - ok but very limited varieties Othet activity - One carrom and one tt table only in the entire property and that too near reception. We were on 1st floor and in the night around 11.45pm noise of playing TT was loud enough in the room making it difficult for us to sleep. Staff - Polite and humble and supportive. Rooms - does not have balcony. Comforter given were having stains. Immediately changed on request but new one was the same. There was no room freshner. Tea and coffee bags were missing. Telecom was not working we leave it after trying for sometime. Hope management looks into this and improve if they need customers to repeat their stay. Best of luck mount view resort.
