Mulaqaat Restaurant — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Mulaqaat Restaurant is on the Old Mumbai Pune Highway near Kumar Resort and exactly opposite Grand Visava Hotel. This place is any Non Veg Lovers delight. I went with my family for Dinner and Oh Boy! , everyone loved the food served. We started with Murg Tikka, Black Pepper Chicken, Lasooni Prawns for Starters. The chicken were properly marinated and juicy, cooked to perfection. We also tried Tandoori Mushroom (so unlikey for a Non Veg Foodie) and even that was good. For Main course, we had the signature Gosht Mulaqaat, Murg Masala Fry and Butter Roti. The Mutton was adequately cooked and spicy. For desserts, they have Caramel Custard, Firni, Gajar ka Halwa and Fruit Salad. Also, one line for the service. They have very prompt and no-nonsence service. If you are a person who thinks a lot about ambience while dining, you might be a tad disappointed. But then, the food will definitely brighten your mood

Visited Mulaqaat restaurant again on 23 July 2022, Whenever in Lonavala or passing through I normally eat, lunch or dinner here, depending on the time of the day.

The food has always been upto standard.

However this time, ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani which was extremely spicy for no reason, have had it many times before here at Mulaqat, but it has never been as spicy as this time. Also the taste was just no good at all, not like the many Times before I have had it here.

Ordered Butter chicken too and was soo sweet and absolutely tasteless, chicken had the boiled taste to it... And was not like how the butter chicken was here the many times i had, had butter Chicken at Mulaqat.

Ty Dal fry was good and so were the butter Naans.

Sad to say the standard and taste has dropped by many points, earlier I would give it a 8/10... Now with this experience will give it a 4/10.

Sorry but just didn't seem like the Mulaqat I have been eating at through the many...

We had a two days trip to Lonawala, best place for weekends. We had a lunch while returning, restaurant Was fully booked at that time. We waited 45mints for our table, a unique Ambiance this restaurant have, we all get excited about food after a good feel of ambiance.

We ordered kali Miri kabab and Tandur Chicken for starters. Chicken Handi and tanduri roti for main course and gajar halwa for dessert. Food was absolutely delicious 😋 as we were hoping. Nice tender cooked tanduri chicken, and a chef special kabab was mouthwatering. Chicken Handi has a thik gravy with a great combination of spices. On the top I am missing Gajar halwa. What a treat we got. Soft, well cooked, not too sweet but enough sweet. Wow... That was a best lunch of the trip. Recommended food - Kali Miri...
