A Disappointing Experience at Hotel Santusht

I visited Hotel Santushti in Lonavala today and was thoroughly disappointed by the service and dining experience. Although I understand that some waiting time is expected after placing an order, the basic courtesy of taking an order promptly was absent. I had to repeatedly call the staff, over five times, just to have my order taken, which is unacceptable in any establishment.

The food, when it finally arrived, was a further letdown. It was neither appetizing nor served hot, falling short of the basic standards one would expect. In stark contrast to the sluggish service, the bill was presented with surprising swiftness, adding insult to injury.

While the ambience of the hotel was passable, it did little to compensate for the dismal service. In fact, it was possibly the worst service I have experienced in Lonavala. My recommendation to potential visitors is stark but honest: consider other options. Terrible Visit – A Complete Disappointment and Waste of Resources

My experience here was utterly frustrating. The dishes lacked any real taste or quality, coming out tasting dull and underwhelming, with serving sizes so small they felt like a prank. There was no indication of fresh ingredients or effort in the preparation—it seemed the kitchen just slapped the food together carelessly.

The customer service was even more shocking. The team appeared disinterested, sluggish, and utterly neglectful. They disregarded our requests, delayed the food for an unreasonable amount of time, and acted as if they didn’t want to be at work. Politeness and professional behavior were completely absent.

If you like insects in your vegetarian food try this place out! The place is a zero on hygiene we found a big dead insect in the Biryani we ordered! The manager accepted it but we did not hear any apology from any of the staff! While going through other reviews on google rite now it seems to be a regular complaint at this restaurant wherein customers have had insects in their food! Believe no corrective action was taken by anyone despite of the customer complaints! The seating is uncomfortable so is the cleaning! The food we ordered earlier to the biryani was not good as well!
